The assembly was quite straightforward and simple. The fan has been functioning quite well and is good value for money.

This is an excellent, efficient and quiet fan, but it is self assembly from a box of parts with instructions. However, the last so tiny nut and bolt demands keen eyesight and near vision, and small fingers. I had to wear my reading glasses and fiddle for a long time but then success came and fresh cool air followed.

We bought this fan as our old one had died and fallen to pieces. This was one of the cheapest, but made by Daewoo, so what could go wrong. Answer, absolutely nothing. It’s a great fan, easy to assemble, plug it in and switch on then sit back and enjoy the cool air wafting over you as the head oscillates. The fan is fully adjustable in height, and the head of the fan is also adjustable, in that it can tip up or down or be fixed. The oscillating head of the fan mode can also be switched off. The fan has 3 speed settings and an on/off button on the control panel. Some assembly of the fan and guard cage is required, but this is fully explained in the instruction booklet and is very easy. It’s a one person job. Great fan. Has saved us on more than one occasion so far this spring/early summer from the oppressive heat in the evening. Truly a fantastic buy.

Still works brilliantly and is so easy to open the front to wipe down the blades. It oscillates well, the fan itself is quiet and powerful, and even after 3 years of frequent use it's as if factory-new in function and look, no rust and hard wearing. Lightweight for moving too which is a major plus.

As the title of this review says; the fan arrived and was easy to assemble however, 1 of the 4 screws at the base of the fan was tightened to a depth that bent the steel strut and made it impossible to loosen. The other 3 screws were fine and loose and I am an Engineer so please don’t think this is user error. The fan works well when on and is easy to assemble (apart from what I’ve stated!) but the base was unsteady and I have to position it in a specific way to ensure that it doesn’t bend and fall. Also, the slowest setting (the 3rd) was not working from the start and still isn’t working. Very disappointing, pay a bit more and get something more sturdy and reliable is my advice

Why did you choose this product over others?: The make is good

I’ve had a few Daewoo fans before and always found them great. I bought this one when we had the recent hot weather when my table top one just wasn’t helping keep me cool. This one was really easy to put together, really sturdy and good quality. Best of all the power is brilliant even on the lowest setting and the extra height does the job perfectly. The fact that it is ssssoooo quiet makes this a very good buy that I would recommend.

Not bad… it’s clearly a cheap design but for 60w and the price, you can’t complain. The tiny 3mm screw was loose in the box so be sure to check for this before assuming it’s missing. After sweating through the recent heatwave, this is doing a stellar job of cooling me down. The mesh guards were a little bent in on arrival but I was easily able to push them back out. For the price, I’m very very happy.

This fan has a Type G plug and it does not fit in a plug in Germany without an adapter.
