Great Gift Idea! *dreamy sighs*
Great Gift Idea! indeed. This one's for giving.... to people who don't care how sausage is made. It's in the general realm of a softly layered Shoyeido Premium, and so it's difficult to believe there's no oils involved. It's sweet, but not cloying; romantic, yet super classy; and utterly decadent, but ... a 100% Japanese decadent, so no guilt. Still the agar here won't pop up and become an issue. What i adore most about Baeido joss? is the bright clash of their ancient, medicinal blends: Cassia, Fenugreek, Clove, Camphor bringing light to the resinous depths of the woods, which become more obvious in Baeido relief. Here things get cleaned up and toned down. This roll offers far more 'refinement' than kick. And to think- How many of us are looking for quieter sandalwood in 2021? But - follow me- these "cleaner" woods cost more, LOTS more. More dosh, less noise. Yes this scent is uber-pleasant, and JUST FEELS CLEAN, suitable for fascist mass consumption just as Muzak once once. Most people would like this- until that is, until we mention price. MEANWHILE . . . Consider the low-level Rosewood which Nippon Kodo sells. It leaves a room stinking like tar on fire. Now find a "dirty" low-end/ leftover Sandal or Agar. These don't seem to break bad! Agar-less Aquillaria woods burn exactly like oak, leaving a truly wholesome after-scent. And - Lord knows - how many of us burn our share of duff Sandalwood. In my experience, duff Sandalwood (2021 stems-and-seeds version) is sweet stuff. My point is: What is the point here? An expensive complexity of pleasantness: Who needs it? Give me the tantric 5-Scents. But now, just imagine your side piece getting this as a gift ! Now we got a winner

Where's the wooden box?
Missing the box. Love the incense but not as elegant as I would wish.
