I put 18 of these on 3 foot metal hangers that stick into the ground all along our driveway and walkway. Looks really cool at night. It's just enough light to see where you are going but not enough to ruin the stars at night.

I love the jars, I placed them on a double hook Shepard hook, they look great

They are nice except -you really have to be sure they are sitting in direct sun as much as possible during the day to work properly at night. When they are lit up they are very pretty. But depending how much sun they are exposed to will determine how long they stay “on”.

I have these on my front and back porch. They are very bright and pretty at night.

You have to string the light in each jar yourself. They are bright enough to be attractive without being overwhelming. We hung ours from a tree at various heights.

Outdoor decoration

The jar is generic, plain glass with no mason jar details. Some of the jar threading is poor because the tops just keep screwing without tightening. Also, the string of lights is half the length as other smaller major jar lights that I have. I actually ended up switching the tops and strands from my smaller jars so it filled this larger jar better than what came with it.The only upside is the larger size. I find it hard to find this larger size.

I enjoy the fact that I can use the solar mason jars lights at night, when going to the bathroom.
