Great small light alarm clock
Because of Amazons wonderful return policy I was able to try a few of the compact alarm clocks and this is the best! It is light and very easy to travel with. The light does not stay on at nite (a good feature) and if you do want to check the time, the top snooze button will shine a very dull light for just a few seconds with is perfect. Very easy to set and it turn off in morning. And very good price. Very accurate so far and not complex to operate. I would buy it again!

Designed for humans, not tecknoheads
This is by far the best travel alarm I have ever had. For that matter, it's the best bedside clock I could ever want. Why? Simplicity, easy to set, big easy to read numerals, totally quiet, compact, and dark in the dark (for those who like sleeping in the dark). Setting time and alarm are extremely easy and intuitive. No extraneous functions or features, taking up space on the screen, adding frustrating complexity, that have nothing to do with the time or an alarm. There is one other feature this clock does have that is at the tip of my requirements. When it is dark, and I want to check the time, the screen has perfect illumination, and not a blinding backlight.

Keeps perfect time.
My husband and I use Alexa to wake us up in the morning but we like to have a backup. We both have one of these. It is very simple to set and at night when you want to know the time all you have to do is press the snooze. The numbers are large and it stays lit up for about 20 seconds. It does not stay lit up all night. That is what we wanted. My husband was having issues with being able to see his clock at night so I ordered him one like mine. Keeps perfect time. I have used mine now for a few months. Great little clock and would be perfect for travel as well. Light and compact.

Good, simple [loud] alarm
Bought this to help me physically get out of bed to turn off my alarm in the morning so I could get up on time. I can place it in different parts of my room so I actually have to think about where it is, thus waking my brain up and increasing the chance of me staying up and out of bed. It is fairly loud so I put something behind it to muffle the sound a bit bc I don’t want to be frightened awake, startled awake is just fine. I only wish it had the option to schedule the alarm to go off on week days without me having to turn it on every single night. Easy to set the time and alarm time. Which is good because every 6-8 weeks or so, the clock time falls behind by like 2-3 minutes (based on my phone clock) so I have to reset it but it’s not a huge deal. Battery life has been good. Bought in mid 2024 and haven’t had to replace them yet.

Great Travel Alarm...but tiny controls
This little clock just about has it all. An alarm that gets loud enough to wake me. Easy to do instructions for setting time and alarm. Compact size. Easy to read. My only concern is that the switches on each side of the clock (volume control and alarm on/off) are very tiny and can be difficult to operate. At least hard for a big guy with pudgy fingers. The switches are recessed, very small, and unless you have good fingernails, they can be a challenge to operate. Except for that concern....a great little alarm clock. Perfect for traveling.

I love this clock!
I love this clock! It has a simple display (i don't need the date, etc.) and the button-push back-light is the right amount of brightness. (I tried two other clocks - one was woah "wake me up" too bright - the other was so dim as to be useless at night, which is when I need it!) I like the size, and that it folds for travel. It feels solid. The alarm sound is fine, and has a low and high volume setting. My only small issue was that it was a little tight to open and close at first; now it's fine. Also note that the volume and alarm controls are on the side. I had to look in the little manual to figure that out!

Simplistic design, basic display, fold-up casing, and unnecessary bells and whistles
Overall this is a pretty handy, minimalist alarm clock. I use it as my normal bedside clock as I do not like glowing alarm clocks right next to me at night, nor do I want any possible bluetooth or wireless transmissions next to my head that may or may not cause early mortality later in life. While there’s a lot to like about the simplistic design, basic display, fold-up casing, and unnecessary bells and whistles, my primary complaint is related to the backlight. It only stays on for 5 seconds and does not persist or reset its interval while other buttons are being pressed. So when you need to change the alarm clock time at night before you go to bed, you will need to have one hand pushing the backlight button every 5 seconds and the other changing the hour and minute buttons periodically until set. Here is a detailed write-up of my other observations: - [ ] The device takes 2 AAA batteries. - [ ] The display unaided with the backlight is very hard to see in a brightly lit and cannot be seen at night. - [ ] The backlight appears to be emitted from a light bulb at the top of the screen which lights up the entire screen evenly and is not an LED screen. - [ ] The backlight does not stay on past its 5 second interval, even when changing the time (such as at night). - [ ] The device fits into the palm+bottom half of fingers of my hand with fingers able to be wrapped around it, though I have large hands. The size reminds of a travel pill container size. - [ ] Long pressing the clock or alarm button changes the screen to time adjust mode in which the hour or minute buttons may be utilized. - [ ] The hour and minute buttons may be short pressed incrementally to change the time or may be long pressed in which after 2 seconds the time will cycle continuously until de-pressed. - [ ] There is no military time function and the time changes can only move forward in time, meaning you can can’t go back an hour for the alarm function, you have to cycle forward through all the successive hours first. - [ ] Short pressing any of the buttons while the display is on clock mode will not do anything. - [ ] Pressing the snooze/backlight button at anytime when the alarm is not sounding will result in lighting the screen for 5 seconds - [ ] Pushing the snooze button snoozes the alarm for 5 minutes. It also lights up the backlight for 5 seconds. - [ ] When the alarm sounds, the backlight lights up for 5 seconds. - [ ] There are two modes for the alarm: set mode and display mode. Long pressing the button will engage the former while short pressing the alarm button will engage the latter. - [ ] Pushing the alarm button once while in set mode turns off set mode and displays the time of the alarm. - [ ] When in alarm set OR display mode, the display will revert to clock mode automatically after 15 seconds of inactivity. - [ ] Pushing any of the buttons on the interface turns off the alarm. Alternatively you may switch the alarm on/off button on the side. - [ ] The alarm sounds for 2 minutes before shutting off automatically. - [ ] From 0-5 seconds, a slow rhythm is played. - [ ] From 5-15 seconds, a faster rhythm is played. - [ ] From 15-120 seconds, a very fast rhythm is played. - [ ] There are 2 sound levels for the alarm: ‘hi’ and ‘lo’. There is not much of a sound difference between the two. - [ ] I would describe the sound decimal level as follows: the higher volume is what I would consider loud for a sleeping person and the low volume level is less loud but still loud.
