Trash the Worms, Mushrooms are WAY better!
Great kit! Way better than the little worms you get at an auto parts store. Had this packed for a few months. Used the compressor a handful of times and works great. Just found a nail in my tire, leaking air. These little mushroom plugs are awesome! Super easy to use and install. Hand tools provided are sturdy and should last as long as you need. Overall, genius system. I'm never going back to worm plugs again.

Just what I needed for motorcyle use- I highly recommend this.
I bought a brand new 2014 BMW R1200GS water-cooled... my dream bike. Buying a BMW bike is a rather large sticker shock. I declined the tire warranty as I wasn't planning to do any rough riding until i got crash bars installed (more ca$h) and I rarely got flats on my previous bike. Of course, the bike gods frowned on this, and I caught a big nail less than 3 days after I rode of the dealer floor. For a couple of weeks, I just stubbornly filled the tire up at home (I have a nice Black & Decker pump) every other day. Finally I ecided that not only could that not go on, but I should plan on more flats, so I bought thre kit. I looked at several, and this one had the most components, was very compact, and reasonably priced. I also liked the mushroom head shape of the plug... it makes sense that it would hold against the inner wall of the tire well. But I was skeptical how it would fit thru the small hole. It woked perfectly, all leaking has stopped, and I have been riding on it for 3 weeks. Since it is my rear tire, and the BMW has a digital tire pressure monitor on my dash, I've been very comfortable riding it around, despite comments from frients. THe world is devided on the topic of whether you can run with them or they just get you to the dealership. I can say both for the rear. I'm not sure how I would feel about the front. Sudden flats on the front can be traumatic. If the plug were to fail, the tire would deflate very quickly, as the hole is much larger after you ream it out. So I'm torn on front wheel use, but would certainly get me to a dealer. Downsides: I haven't actually used the air compressor, however, I can say that it would be practically impossible to use on my bike, given spoke wheels and disks fron both sides. I just purchased a 90 degree adapter to see if that would help a little. What would make it better: To me, a 'kit' includes all things needed. But what is missing is a small pair of pliers to pull the excess plug out so you can cut it off... I added a small pair of pliers, but the kit really needs on. Even a cheap one. The cigarette adapter is useless for a motorcycle, I'd like to see a powerlet version for my bike. It will someday be handy, I'm sure, if I stop to help a broken down car or truck. Ease of use: Anyone can use this - zero technical skills. Instructions provided are rudimentary but sufficient for anyone. I bought this because I want to take some rides off road, way out there, away from tow trucks and 7-11's. This may be the only convenience I take with me. I may purchase an additional one for my car just to be safe.

... it hoping I would never use it but I'm glad I did
I bought it hoping I would never use it but I'm glad I did. I haven't used it in my bike just yet, but in other people's cars. From time to time I would see people in the shoulder with flat tires and every single time even 1/2 ton trucks I have been able to help at some degree. The pump is small and it can take 5 to 10 minutes to half pump a car tire but the size is perfect the "patches" are awesome they are better than the regular rubber patching kits and I won't even mention the fixing cans. In short words I have been able to help people in times of need and for me that has no price

Electrical cord on air pump is short
Electrical cord is short I had to buy a battery Tender 6' extension cord to be able to use it, I have a battery tender plug already on my bike. The lighter plug with 5 1/2' cord is useless to me as I don't have a lighter outlet on my bike

Kit is very well designed, everything but pliers are included, and so far works very well
I only have three very small gripes and one small suggestion for the instructions. Gripe 1 - They should square off a section (two sides) of the plugger tool so that you could put an adjustable wrench around the tool to hold it in place while you turn the Allen wrench. It turns out I really didn't need this - but if my hands were slippery -- perhaps greasy or if it was raining (or my hands weren't so strong) -- holding the round plugger tool with bare hands while turning the Allen wrench might be problematic. Gripe 2 - pliers should be included with the kit; they are absolutely required and everything else is included and works well - why not include pliers? I forgot what my 3rd small grip was :-) Maybe I'll update this if I think about it. For the instructions, I would suggest that you read them well. They are actual English (not Chinese-English) and describe the process very well. I think they should tell you to test the turning the screw in the Plugger tool with the Allen wrench - see how far in/down it travels before you actually use it to push the plug into the tire. I wasn't sure that I really come to the end of available travel distance (wasn't sure if I could possibly turn the Allen wrench more with more force). Turns out I was at the extreme travel limit, but knowing the travel limits of the screw by practicing with the tool before actually performing the exercise would have set me much more at ease. In the end, I am impressed with this kit and it would seem to have saved me close to $300.00 - the cost of a new tire installed at Harley Davidson. This tire only has 2-3 years and 1800 miles on it. I hope this will be a good solution for another couple of years. Will update this if I find that the plug is not holding like I think it should.

For the motorcycle
I do long distance on my Harley, having this with me makes me feel better. The size is perfect and small, tool bag, at oil, first aid, rain gear, plus more all fit in one SaddleBag. A friend turned me on to this, he had to use it 4 times works every time. No waiting for a tow truck, I will buy one for my full size truck as well.

I haven't had to use it yet and I hope I don't have to, but as a sports bike rider who goes on trips with only a 25LTR backpack this product is giving me total piece of mind. The instructions are foolproof and the compressor comes with alligator clips that attach to your bikes battery so you don't even need a 12V adapter on your bike. It is amazingly compact. I have never purchased any product so well thought out, maybe that's because it is designed AND manufactured in the USA, which reminds me of the way it used to be. For a sports bike rider it's worth it's weight in gold!! If I could I would give it 10 stars!!

Great set small enough to easily carry on my bike trips. I like the rubber plug system better than the traditional cord system
