Tests performed as expected. I was worried that my first faint positive was an evap or indent line, but in hindsight it is pink with progression over 4 days. Best wishes to all trying!

I’ve used First Response for years, and it’s still the most reliable early test out there. It picked up my positive result several days before my expected period, while other brands were still showing negative. The lines appeared quickly and were easy to read. Highly recommend if you want peace of mind early on!

Finally, a 5-pack! Perfect for taking one a day until your period is due, if you're like me and want to know as early as possible. However. These tests are very, very sensitive and will pick up failed implantations/chemical pregnancies. These are NOT false positives even though you may get your period on time. Whenever I have had a very faint line that looked questionable, I was indeed pregnant (confirmed by my OBGYN) but ended up getting my period anyway a few days late or right on time. Unfortunately, these super early losses right after implantation are very common (though rarely discussed in the medical community) and FRER will pick them up, so if you don't want to know about super early miscarriages, steer clear. P.S - All of my negative tests have clearly been negative, no indent lines or evaps in the reading time frame. I have tried several brands and I keep coming back to this one because it is truly the most accurate. P.S.S - If you are taking a biotin supplement, or have a lot of it in your prenatal, you might get false negatives on these!! In that case go with a different brand or stop your biotin for a couple days before testing again. Hope this helps any other mamas and aspiring mamas out there!

They are not what they used to be. They don't show line progression. Just same line every day while my cheapies show significantly darker line.
