Exactly what I needed (instructions included)
Product arrived in 3 days, nicely packaged in bubble wrap. As others have stated, there are no instructions, no wiring and no connectors. With the right tools, you can install this yourself with no problem. Once installed, it works great and as advertised. Here are the steps needed to install on a 36 volt golf cart.Needed:• Wire -18 gauge works fine• Female spade connectors with crimp tool• Two inch hole saw (or whatever you prefer)Cut a hole exactly 2 inches and install the meter.Measure at battery terminals to ensure you will be connecting the wires to a 36 volt source. Run one wire (red preferably) from the positive terminal and one wire (black or green) from the negative terminal. I just stripped the wire back a couple of inches, loosened the battery cable at the terminal and wound it around the post and re-tightened. Crimp the female spade connectors to the wires using your crimping tool. Youwill connect the red to the positive connector on the meter (look close, you’ll see the marking) and the black to the negative connector. You’re done!• Red on the left - time to charge• Green – Good but will need charging soon• White – Fully charged• Red on the right – over charged

Gauge works as described
This gauge is to be used on a 36v golf cart. Easy to see and read. The poles are marked, but not very well. Directions would really help with installing, but we're not included.

Great Volt Meter for your Golf Cart
Without a volt meter, you never know what your battery state is in. At rest, the battery voltage may read ok with a hand held volt meter, but when under load, the battery voltage can change dramatically depending on the health of the battery. This meter shows your battery voltage in a dynamic state. I mounted my meter by drilling a 5/16 hole at the bottom center of the panel below the warning sticker and then used a 5/16" bolt and nut to form a stud that fits the hole in the mounting bracket that comes with it.Though it draws a minimal amount of current, I installed a SPST toggle ON/OFF switch in the LH glove box to turn it off when the cart is not being used and also when charging. While charging, the meter may get pegged all the way to the right. I also installed a 10A in-line fuse in case there is a wiring fault. Overall it works great.

works as stated
This was easy to install as long as you keep positive with positive and negative with negative. I taped the back up just incase when handling that you didn't touch both connectors and get a good shock. I wish there had been a better bracket to mount it though. It wasn't clear how to mount it other than drilling hole. As far as working, it does what it says, and the best part is that you don't have to have the key in the "on" position all the time like other meters. You just have to learn at what point your batteries need charged, by the time my meter is in the red, my cart has already slowed down so it didn't warn me at first, but then I learned when the needle stays at a certain point in the green that the batteries are about to lose power. Plus I have older batteries so that may have something to do with it. Otherwise, great product for metering your battery and a great price.
