Praying for Your Prodigal

I like this book a lot. I have a prodigal and this lets me know there are others with my situation and that gives me hope.

Years ago I began to read one of Kyle's other books. I couldn't read more than the first chapter. The content wasn't clicking with me. Fast foward-- I have 2 adult prodigal daughters and read any book that I can find. I almost skipped this book but the Holy Spirit would not let me. I cannot read this book without crying. Tears of thanks, relief, hope, and joy that I am not alone in this journey. And I am not guilty of being a horrible single parent because my daughters are not walking with our Loving Heavenly Father.

I loved the prayers for our prodigals and the letters from parents with aching hearts. The way the author tied these into the Bible story of the prodigal son was helpful. I have hope for my prodigal!

Book only a few pages and it was had to follow.

If you are the parent of a prodigal son or daughter, this is a must read! Full of real life stories of some of today's prodigals and the parents who are praying for them. Every page backed by Scripture references of the original prodigal and prayers for prodigals in every chapter.A short read, but packed full of hope and promises for every person who's praying a prodigal comes "Home" to Christ and to them.

The author expounds on the story of the Prodigal Son with ideas and thoughts that will help us understand and know how to pray for our lost family members. The book is very short and easy to read but is well worth reading. It will encourage you to continue to pray and not lose hope.

I always enjoy Kyle Idleman books good author especially his books on grace and prodigal, this is awesome. I recommend his books .

So, GOD talks to us through this book so much, it is so powerful. I'm so grateful that GOD used Kyle as a really instrument to bless us in such a difficult moment.
