Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Seaside Sidekicks Sand Cookie-Baking Set

Fun sand set for my grandkids. They love to pretend they’re cooking using sand at the beach, and my granddaughter mentioned she wished she had some sand toys for that. And—voila—I found this cute set. It’s very bright and colorful and seems to be very good quality like other Melissa and Doug toys. They played with these a lot at the beach.

We have been buying M&D toys for years. We are never disappointed. Whenever we have had trouble with anything they replace it or give us back our money. We have even had the company call us minutes after we have left a review or comment. They take their products seriously & we LOVE them for that commitment! This sand toy has a "shaker" piece that our daughter adores. She adds "sugar" or "sprinkles" to all her creations. She has spent hours playing in her sandbox & at the beach with this set. She has a 10 year old cousin who also loves playing with this set along with her. Great job, again, M&D!!!

i purchased this product for my son's birthday. It is such a cute how. He loved the shaker and having the plates to serve desserts for me to eat. My son did become easily frustrated at trying to make the sand hold the shape of the molds. I love the creativity he can have working with these toys. We do not have a toy kitchen, this is a great alternative in my opinion as my son uses his imagination to cook and bake his cookies and cakes.

I couldn't believe the quality of this product when I received it. It's much larger than I expected and made out of a very sturdy plastic. The rolling pin is perfect for smoothing out a sand spot, or just for rolling over the "creations". The sprinkle container is great for sprinkling the cookies. The cookie cutters are adorable in that they are designed to make little faces on the cookies. The cookie sheet works great not only with this set, but with the M & D sand cupcake set as well. It also serves as a good sturdy base for a sand castle. My two older children like that there are "tic tac toe" lines underneath the cookie sheet. They press it in the sand and play tick tac toe. So glad I bought this!
