His favorite new toy
I buy a lot of toys for my grandson. I like the ones that are vintage and remind me of when I was a child. I like this top because I remember playing with a similar one when I was little. So I got it for Holden. It is now Holden‘s favorite toy. He gets very upset if you take it away from him. He carries it around with him everywhere. It’s really funny to watch. Anyway this is a great toy at a great price. BTW Holden is almost two years old.

Much like the one my Grandmother had.
Much like the one my Grandmother had I played with as a kid. (I'm 66 now.) Our grandkids love it. It's fun to see how fast you can make it go, then mesmerizing to watch and listen to it hum and see how long it will go. We've had it about a year and it's seen lots of rough use.

A classic toy
My grandson loves this throwback to my childhood. If you pump it enough you can get it to whistle but I wish it had sparks or lights. It's made well enough to last through one or two childhoods but it's not destined to become an heirloom. If you're so inclined, I'd be concerned about the twisted metal armature coming loose and impaling the child or family pet. I'm not a neither are the parents.

I've always loved spinning, singing tops. This one is so pretty, and a great beginning top for the wee littles. That training wheel on the bottom is p erfect.
