Extra crunchy, earthy, smells great
These are so crunchy. If you break them up smaller and air them out, they do soften a bit. As far as flavor, they taste great! It says white slate pencil + red clay, but I've never had red clay. The closest thing I can compare to, is a bit of the taste of old school chalk. If you wet the really dusty ones and then a them, it smells like fresh water drops on dust.

Good Taste, More Clay Taste then typical slate
I regularly chew on both slate and terracotta clay pencils, so I figured I would try these. Definetly HEAVY on the clay flavor. Does have that crunch that white slate but not much. Happy pica eating!
