Blueridge BR-43 Contemporary Series 000 Guitar

Received product 4 days ago. So far I'm in love. Really surprised at the volume level this little guy can get. Came surprisingly well set up out of the box. One reserve I had about buying a blue ridge was the flashy head stock label, but upon arrival it is not the same as pictured on the amazon pictures! It is a lot more plain, which I love(I'll post pics when I get a chance). Tuners seem to be fairly true to holding. took a day or so for strings to stretch out, but seems good so far. Feels really great in hand, and the sound is just fantastic for the price. Definitely a Martin knock off, which I am perfectly fine with as I do not have a couple grand to spend on a 000-18. Extremely pleased with quality so far, hopefully I won't have to update review later with negatives.

Sounds great once tuned

I love this guitar! I had a Martin DCPA-4 and loved it but it was a dreadnaught with a wide neck so for me it was a little difficult to play. As much as I loved the Martin sound I had to sell it and ordered this from Amazon not sure how I would like it. But all the reviews were good so I thought it was worth a try. It is so much easier to handle and play being a 000 size and smaller neck width for me. Sounds incredible. It is so very close to the Martin sound and look. Being a smaller size still sounds great. I played with a friend last light that had a Blueridge BR-160 which cost much more. But I didn't think it sounded a bit better than this one. I highly recommend this guitar.

I got this guitar to learn how to play. I was a bit reluctant to show this at my first lesson. My instructor took a look at it and said " great quality guitar to learn how to play!" Not disappointed!

I just received this today and all I can say is "WOW"!! Great sound for an inexpensive small body guitar. Although I own many more expensive guitars, I know this is going to be one I find myself playing a lot. Outstanding value!

Nice looking guitar and comfortable to play and a great guitar fo r a.beginner who is not looking for a rich sound from the instrument. Perhaps the solid body (163) is what I am seeking.overall sound did not meet my expectations.

A great little guitar for the money. Even though it’s made in China the craftsmanship is amazing. The solid woods and the good fretwork make for an excellent working instrument. I noticed some of the reviews said the sound was kind of small… That is to be expected of a triple 000 Size guitar! The thing to remember about this guitar is that it is designed to play inside of a small room such as a living room or a small studio. It’s not designed play big concert halls or giant spaces. I find I can sing over it perfectly, whereas trying to sing over my Martin HD 28 is difficult. Therefore if you’re a singer songwriter, musician looking for a parlor type guitar, or just a guitar aficionado this is a great guitar to have in your arsenal. I own many guitars and I keep coming back to this little guy to jam and sing on the couch.

OK…when it showed up, I thought, "What a plain looking guitar"; it looks a bit cheap at first glance. The wood is plain, not toned with aging toner for a 'vintage' look like more expensive guitars. Pickguard: black, pretty standard. Tuning machines: Nice vintage style. And the tone from this 'Plain Looking '000' sized Guitar'? WOW! I could not believe my ears. I've got a Martin John Mayer Signature Edition 000, and this Blueridge BR43 rivals it in tone!…I kid you not! Don't let cheap looks deceive you…this is an incredible deal for the price. It's got distinct 'highs' and a nice bass response that 000's a thousand dollars more have. I don't know how they did it, but they did. My Martin John Mayer is a great guitar and a 'looker', but in side by side tonal comparisons, the Blueridge was right up there with it. It's got a solid top, laminate mahogany back and sides…quite an instrument for such a reasonable price. You will not be disappointed in it's tone., but will be surprised and amazed at how great it sounds.

The guitar is very carefully prepared, there is no cause for complaint concerning the quality of workmanship. Sound is clear and bright, so its a great pleasure to play. Thanks to the splendid seller also for the trustworthy and safe shipping. Highly recommended item, highly recommended seller !

No case!! Case is pictured but guitar just came in a box . It also needs a set up! May return it yet !

Chitarra eccezionale per il fingestyle e in particolare il ragtime. Il timbro e' quello delle Martin anteguerra. Tastiera perfetta e manico mokto comodo. Equilibrio tra bassi, medi e alti. Sono molto soddisfatto. Come sempre, Amazon e' una sicurezza.

Nice guitar wonderful specs but mine arrived damaged from amazon so returned it
