Great product but be careful who you purchase from
Buyer beware! I left a 5-star rating as that is what the genuine article deserves, unfortunately the one I just purchased is nowhere near the quality of the original. Trying to save a few bucks I purchased from newbeauty77 and received a counterfeit from Asia. Out of laziness I just copied and pasted my submitted issue below, spelling errors are intentional as exact quotes:"Item nowhere near the quality of the true 5.11 belt listed.Issues are as follows:1. Packaging lists "SOLIO CUT SIANLESS STEEL BUCKLE" as opposed to one that should be both SOLID and STAINLESS2. Packaging lists "matte black finish." My genuine belt came with that buckle, this one is a gloss finish and poor quality gloss at that.3. Packaging lists "Buckle leatures 6000 lb rating." My genuine did list that FEATURE, but as this one lists it as a "leature" I am highly skeptical.4. Packaging lists "Working end slanted for ease of use." My genuine does have this feature but it is nowhere to be found on this one.5. Buckle/D-Ring feels light and not anywhere near the quality, sturdiness or durability of the original. Original is also slightly smaller than this imitation.6. Manufacturer's tag is on the exterior of the counterfeit, it is on the interior of the original.7. Manufacturer's tag lists this as being the coyote color. It is most definitely black, not coyote.8. Loop portion of velcro on the one I just recieved is about 3 inches toward the buckle end of the belt when compared to the original.9. Loop portion of velcro spans the entire 1.5 inch width of the belt, not the centered, 1 inch span of the genuine thing.10. Fake belt is about 3 inches longer than the original.11. Hook portion of the velcro is all the way at the tail end of the belt, not 1 inch from the tail like on the original.12. Hook portion of velcro spans the entire 1.5 inch width of the belt, not the centered, 1 inch span of the genuine thing. As an emergency responder in my community I do not buy my gear for looks, I purchase it for functionality and capability. The fact that I purchased this belt in large part because it has a 6000lb capacity only to recieve a cheap imitation could have resulted in a serious injury or death in a situation where I was counting on my gear perform to the standards advertised. To say I am disappointed is an understatement, this is completely unacceptable."

Good until it Frays out.
Be forewarned. 5.11 TACTICAL REFUSES TO Honor any sort of product warranty when bought from Amazon LLC.I bought this belt in december, I thought it was the best belt I had ever owned. It worked great for about 4 months, and then it started fraying out on the end. After about 3 weeks of this, the end of the belt is a giant puffball. So I call up 5.11 and ask about how to get a replacement. As I bought it from Amazon, I was ineligible for ANY support on the product. The warranty sheet that comes with the belt stated a 1yr warranty on the product. Unfortunately Amazon is not an "Authorized" dealer.Be wary when buying, if you have a problem and you bought it here, you are on your own.

... and I have concluded that this has been the best choice for me
I've been trying out several gun-specific belts for EDC and while at the range and I have concluded that this has been the best choice for me. The belt is light weight, but still very supportive--for non-reinforced nylon--and the buckle allows for really good and solid adjustment with just a pull. Once you have her set, just lock down the velcro and you're good--not going to budge. Very comfortable as a regular belt and it's very easy to get on and off without having to deal with buckles and whatnot. The only think that is not 100% perfect is the end of the belt does not have velcro going all the way to the end so the very tip of the belt if not tucked under a belt loop will stick out away from the belt face. You'll hit with it arm from time to time. Not a show stopper but just worth of note. Overall a great belt!

I've had better belts for half the price
From the get go I had issues with this belt. After a short time driving/sitting, I realized the edges on the buckle were sharper than they looked. After filing the edges I was pleased with the belt for a few months, and then it started to fray and come apart where my holster sits and in the very center of the back. This is the only belt I've owned, regardless of material or price, that I've had fall apart like this. After a few repairs I gave up and trashed it.

Army should really issue this belt
This tactical belt is perfect for me. Since I lack in the butt department, pants that are the right size and stay on my waist are a pain to find. This belt has lasted me many field problems and still prevents plumbers crack

Perfect gun belt
First I got the 13/4 inch operator belt. Really liked it. Good quality, but a little thick to fit easily in some of my jeans. So I decided to go with the 1 1/2 inch Trainer. I really like the belt. Obviously only time will tell how it holds up, but works great as a gun belt, or a really heavy duty way to hold up pants. A lot of people talk about the size, so here's my info so it might help. I wear 34 waist jeans, or 36 waist if I'm carrying IWB. The Large belt fits great. I definitely could put on a lot of weight and still wear this belt, but any skinnier I'd have to get the medium.

Belty McBeltpants.
Bought the large to use as a jean/everyday belt. Comfortable, durable and looks good. The buckle is sturdy and doesn't pinch or rub. Only four stars because it isn't made in the USA, will do fine till I find a better one that is.

One of the better Tactical belts I've purchased
One of the better Tactical belts I've purchased. Good fit, and does not hurt after wearing for long periods of time like some rigid belt do.

Great all round belt. Fits well and is very comfortable. Stays flat and does not roll or lose shape. Great for a holster or other attachments.
