It does the job. Keeps mosquitos off your head and neck. Good size. Good quality. I like the little bags it comes with. Really handy, better than balling it up and throwing it into a pack or something.

I take my dogs out into the forest to hike. There are a few weeks every year when gnats and other small insects tend to swarm around me as I walk, and every once in a while one of them will land in my eye. Annoying and painful. Insect spray sometimes helps but not always, and some of those little critters are very persistent. I made a mental note to buy a head net but didn't get around to it until recently. I'm glad I finally did. I went for a hike with the net and had ZERO problems with gnats. Whenever they started to swarm, I'd pull the net down over my head. Instant protection from insects. Once the swarms cleared, I could pull the net back up and away from my face. This net will trap a little bit of heat, and it will also occlude your vision a small amount. Also, it's a pretty tight fit into the storage bag that it comes with. The bag should be just a bit bigger to allow you to scrunch the net up and get it stowed more easily. As it stands, I was a little afraid of tearing the net when I stuffed it back in the bag, and it's the only reason why I don't give it 5 stars. Aside from that relatively minor nuisance, this is a great product. It works, it's very inexpensive, and I can keep one on my dog's leash and another in my hiking pack, which means I'll always have one when I need it. If you hike in terrain where insects are a concern, I strongly recommend trying a net like this one. I won't be without one on a hike any more.

Works exactly like I hoped it would. Fits nicely over my hat, can see through it fine and keeps away all of the mosquitos and nats. Folds up into practically nothing—and even comes with a case. Can not find anything like it in town.

I live in wisconsin and am part of an atv club. There trails go through some thick woods and if you stop, the bugs are CRAZY. This worked excellent when I truly needed it as my dads atv tipped over and we need to stop and inspect the atv as oil was leaking but the bugs were bad. This kept the bugs off of us so we could focus on checking the atv and making sure my dad was alright of course. It fit not only over my head but also my entire helmet. It kept the bugs off my face and was extremely simple to use and very light as you would expect. The price is excellent. My dad also liked it as it comes with 2, so I had one and gave the other to my dad. I kind of hated this clubs atv trail because of the bugs, but this product took the bugs out of the equation and now I can enjoy the ride and love the trail. Overall, its worth the money for sure. I literally have nothing bad to say about it.

The other day I went creek fishing and came home with noseum bites all over my face. Once home, I immediately went on Amazon and looked for a good net to wear over my hat. This one looked like an ideal option and had good reviews. The package arrived vacuum sealed and it is exactly as described. Tiny mesh, generous net size to fit over a hat, toggle closures and a small carry bag to protect the netting when not in use. I got the black and it does not impede your vision at all, as shown in my pictures. I’m looking forward to wearing while fishing comfortably.

Keeps bugs off, but not easy to see through. Also doesn't stay put. I had to safety pin it to my hat. Don't recommend.

Used these on a recent camping trip and they functioned very well. Large enough to go over large rimmed hat and no bugs entered though bottom.

I like these nets as you can put them on any hat or cap and they will fit the flys will try but they can't get at you. Also you get two so I say buy now. Recommended

Looks like it will do the job. I haven’t tried it yet, but hoping that it will also keep out midges.
