£100 sound for 30
Best sounding headphones I've ever used and I used to have £100 earbuds. These are a serious bargain

Wired is best.
Nice fit, and it’s nice to get back to wired sounds, no more hunting about and charging of pods a. The sound is great and I’m sure the clarity is better than equivalent and more expensive wirellsnoods.

Amazing, but durability is an issue
These are very good earphones. Sound quality is amazing for the price, earbuds are comfortable, but a little rubbery. The only true letdown is durability, for whatever reason, these earphones have a habit of one side losing audio after around a year in my possession, with cautious use. So be careful how loud you set your volume at, as I assume it would die out quicker if it's a set problem. If that was sorted, these would be perfect.

Shocked!
I saw rave review for these wired earphones om What Hi Fi website. My purchase arrived from Amazon not 20 minutes ago. I have connected them now to 4 different devices - there is no bass whatever! Top and middle seem ok - hard to tell. I just don't understand - they must be faulty? In 30 years I have not experienced any headphone or earphone - including those costing just a few pounds, that have been so utterly dead at the low end. It's a complete mystery and I don't quite believe it myself. I have no option but to return them immediately. I wonder what their history is !!! A huge dissapointment but I would say that this experience seems not to be refelcted in other reviews.

One earbud faulty 4 months in!
Have always purchased cheap earbuds that would last 6 months, decided to try more expensive earbuds. Within about 4 months, one earbud has lost a lot of volume compared to the other. Left earbud is probably half the volume of the other. If they were over a year old then ok, not 4 months. Again, never purchased more expensive buds, so don't know if this 4 month timespan is standard. My overear headphones literally last 5+ years everytime tho. Other than this issue with one bud, they are great. The mid wire controller feels a bit cheap and could do with more defined tactile feedback to differentiate the volume up, volume down and pause functionality,. I often pause stuff by mistake not knowing if I'm pressing a volume button or too central and hitting pause. I also purchased the e11 version of these earbuds for a friend and have been informed that their set have broken within the first 3 months. Unacceptable quality really.

Disappointing audio
Very disappointed, can't understand the reviews about sound quality. Yes, the sound is very clear and precise with a wide range of frequencies present. However, it verges on being tinny much of the time with a limited bass response making the sound balance lacking and uncomfortable at times. I consistently have to turn the volume down when using these to avoid the mid to high frequencies hurting my ear. I've only ever bought cheap ear buds before so was expecting more at this price point but ended up feeling that one of the cheaper ones is easier to live with even though the frequency range isn't as good as these. The effect is even more pronounced with phone calls. Horrible tinny voice sound, definitely had to switch back to an older pair for calls. UPDATE 2 DAYS LATER: I've discovered that changing the tips makes a difference. I went from the default middle ones to the largest ones with the oval shape. Sounds better now; no dramatic increase in bass but it sounds slightly better balanced and less tinny. I was on the verge of returning them but kept them as I can just about live with them for occasional use and wasn't sure that I would find something better based on reviews alone.

These sound great!
I'm a musician and I have a decent amount of studio and sound engineering experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound of these. The tips isolate outside noise pretty well. There's a lot of room and detail in these headphones to my ears the upper mid range and treble are boosted, and get almost but not quite harsh. I expect this to mellow a bit further after a few hours and they've been broken in. How these still sound still really great, especially for the price. They wipe the floor with the on-ear Sony WH-CH500's they are replacing. I also tried some Airpods 2 for a couple of weeks. (My advice is don't bother very average sounding and absolutely not worth the absurd price!) Really happy with these. I hope the build quality holds up.I am careful with my gear and will use the supplied zip shell case, which is a nice touch. They are comfortable too and they Don't need much driving. As a result of that they get plenty loud. For £50 these are great value and are pretty much better than anything similar under £100. Well worth it!
