They certainly. used to be. They are the proper authentic type farm animals made from plastic using the same molds that Victorian and early 20th century lead ones were made from. Proper quality stuff. I have lots of old ones from when I was a kid (plastic) and they are definitely made in the uk

Will this fit a small schleich horse in?

Sorry, don’t fully understand what you are asking. Schleich models are a slightly different scale from Britain’s so I have never mixed them. My grandson only has Britains 1:32. Hope this helps.
