Works with Street Glide Special- but no CB function
So, my 2014 Street Glide Special has the plug in for headsets (but no COMS- this cord will not work with COMS). I cannot answer the phone via the harley audio system with this cord - but I CAN still answer the phone via the bluetooth connection from headset to phone. The harley system also pairs w/ my phone which is nice cuz it interrupts the audio on my speakers when it rings. But to answer the call I have to use the Sena phone button on the helmet. No problem. This cord allows me to listen to navigation from the Harley nav system in my sena headset- while playing my music on the Harley Boom speakers. Overall, a great solution for me because I don't have coms yet -- for now I only want to be able to hear the navigation if needed and didn't want to have to play the music in the sena speakers and waste those awesome harley ones (but you CAN play the music in the sena speakers from phone/ or HD system if you like)! I could really care less about talking on the phone on the bike, but you CAN answer it via your sena bluetooth connection.

buy several spares
sena patch cord for harley is flimsy. i broke or the shop broke one already. made in china and the connection between the very small wires and the big harely jack makes for weak connection easily broken. so i bought 3 knowing they would get broken from time to time. once you plug in the harley jack don't disconnect it. it will break. always disconnect at the 3.5 mm jack. then you won't hate yourself for breaking one of these things.

Works well.
Connected it to the Harley accessory part Boom! Audio Music and Communications Kit-69200865. The kit connects in the fairing (remove the outer fairing). I ran the 7 pin end through the fairing next to the left speaker and into the left storage compartment. Had to grind out a 3/8" opening in the upper right corner of the compartment (looking from rear to front) to get the connector wires in there. Velcro the last 3-4" of the wire sheath to the upper wall of the compartment and the 7 pin end sits in the left upper corner. Then connected this Sena stereo jack and the SM10 sits in the compartment perfectly. Plenty of room for a cell phone to sit in there as well while charging from the 12V accessory outlet just below the compartment. Works like it was made that way. The only thing that could be cleaned up is the wire from the accessory outlet/charger to the phone is hanging out there. Not sure how to fix that.

It is not a perfect solution but I now ride without a cable attaching ...
I plugged my Sena into the USB port of the audio system in the back for power and then I plugged this cable into the passenger cable. I drilled a small hole to run the wire behind the seat. It works very well with no alternator whine. I can receive the CB but cannot transmit so, I mounted the Honda mike from an old headset and cut the speakers off. I plug the cable into the front to just the mike if I know I am going to talk over the CB. My wife and I use Uclear bluetooth sets to communicate. The only downside, I have not found a way to communicate over the Uclear and hear the CB at the same time. I just use the External speakers on the bike if I need to do both, which is very rare. It is not a perfect solution but I now ride without a cable attaching me to the bike 90% of the time.

Sena cable
This cable works great with the sena sm10 on a Honda Goldwing. However I'm not impressed with cost verses quality of the cable! The wire is very thin and should be made with heavier gauge wire. I like how the plug has weather protection at the bikes plug but just feel Sena could do a better job with the wire guage size. If buying this cable I recommend going to your local auto parts store and buy wire heat shrink and use it at the plug end that plugs into the bike to reinforce the wire..

Great product!
Worked perfectly!! I needed to connect the Harley headset plug into my Chatterbox audio input so that I could listen to my music and GPS guidance from the Harley while being able to communicate on the Chatterbox. This fit the bill perfectly!! The cord would be a little short if you were trying to connect to your helmet, but I have my Chatterbox mounted to the handlebars, so it worked well. Short enough so it doesn't hang down and mess with the paint on the tank, but coiled so that it will give with turning, etc.

This product needs to be reworked.
EDIT: 13SEPT15My second cable has now gone the way of the first one and I've adjusted my rating accordingly. I really rely on this cable and it is annoying that it doesn't last very long. This time instead of losing the voices I've lost the right channel. I can get it back by fiddling with the cable, but it won't stay on. I have a trip coming up very soon so if I want to use my system as I've set it up I'll need to order another one, but I am going to design my own cable.Attached; please find a picture of my cable placement. This is not even stretching the cable at all, it does make a 180 bend, but it's loose and shouldn't breakdown within 10 months of light use. I don't even disconnect more than every few weeks to charge the BT sender...most of the time I just charge it in place. This has now become unacceptable in my opinion and need to be addressed by the manufacturer. This is a perfect piece for it's intended use (Goldwing headphone to Sena Bluetooth adapter). It works well, but I had to replace my first one. Amazon did it as a courtesy, but I lost a few dollars on the transaction. My first adapter ended up with a broken wire internally and I have no idea why. I'm not stretching it nor does it have a sharp bend. I had it off the bike for a few days and when I put it back on I was missing all the "voices" in my music. (My guess is the ground wire or shield if they use it for a ground became disconnected internally.) At $25 for this cable I don't expect that to happen in a matter of a couple of months. It would get pretty expensive over time.If it happens again I'll likely build my own. It won't have the great wire transitions, but I guarantee it won't fail again. For now I'll chalk it up to "stuff happens".

Works well for me....
This performs well. I have some custom in-ear monitors that really block out the wind noise. This, along with a barrel adaptor, allows me to plug them right into the system. The sound is not perfect but works really well for me. There is a little static but, there is a lot going on with this setup. That is to be expected. I recommend this adapter.
