Drive Medical RTL100017 Walker Glide Skis, Universal Fit, One Pair, Gray

These glides are easy to install. Slip on over the leg and apply a little force and on they go. Very sturdy and the ski design prevents them from being caught on door sills or thresholds. They are far superior to the original slides and are really heavy duty. Very smooth on outdoor surfaces and indoor surfaces. Great product and shipped fast and arrived on time.

Works as expected. Fits on walker easily although takes some hand strength to apply Smooth on carpets and hardwood. Doesn’t scratch or tear flooring. Necessity for rolling walkers. Would recommend.

Great replacements for my walker. Had trouble removing the old tips until I found a great idea: remove the leg from the walker, place in the hinge of a door and pull gently until it grabs. The just wiggle the leg back and forth until the tip comes off.

Works great with the Drive Medical 10247-1 ( HX5 9JP ). Much more durable than the stock round ends.

These skis look more durable than those I have seen on other people's walkers. They are very easy to install. They glide smoothly on all surfaces. I'll buy these again when I need a new pair.

I have a DRIVE WALKER rated at “UP TO 500 POUNDS” of load bearing capacity. I also purchased DRIVE REAR WHEELS with a breaking capability of 300 pounds. These rear wheels are rated at 300 pounds of load capacity. I purchased these runners to replace rubber tips that came with the walker. The rubber tips will not hold 500,400, 300, even 200 pounds. The plastic runners appear to be the same hard plastic that are in the wheel assembly. These runners fit on to the walker frame the same way as the rubber tips. However, on the inside there is a steel washer that keeps the walker frame from cutting into the plastic runners. There is a lot of downward pressure placed on the runners because that downward pressure purposely is required to break the forward movement.

Bought for my mom as she was tired of the tennis balls wearing out so quickly. They are easy to put on and work perfectly.

Fitted the device and is working well.

Purchased last week for my father’s walker, he finds them easier to walk with than the rubber Stubbs that were on the walker. They glide across his hardwood floors without any scratches. Very impressed.
