A huge improvement over rubber and my previous polyurethane hoses
A huge improvement over the rubber hoses I've been using and the polyurethane hoses in the past. The poly hoses I'd had previously had much (emphasis on much) stronger memory of being coiled up. More like a spring than a lay flat hose. This still wants to coil, but not aggressively like before. I really like it. I've left these lay out in the sun, under pressure for a couple weeks now and seen no degrading of the surface. That takes me to the rubber hoses. Indoors, out of the sun, they work fine. Left out in the weather and the outer surface soon begins to check and fade. None of that here. These hoses replaced a couple rubber ones that finally started having blowouts. The rubber hoses were 3/8", a size larger, but since I'm running 1/4" air fittings I figured there shouldn't be much difference. I can tell no change in the amount of air coming out the business end of the hose. This is not a measured conclusion, just what it feels and acts like. They are much lighter than a rubber hose, thinner and more flexible. The swivel fittings are a nice touch. There is a tolerable tendency to want to coil up, I noticed last night when putting one away (I do that occasionally) that it made coiling the hose up much easier. It cooperated, didn't want to fight me.I replaced the rubber hose that finally blew out on a hose reel. A 25' reel and I easily was able to fit 40' of this type hose (Amflo 12-50E Blue 300 PSI Polyurethane Air Hose) on the reel. Easy to cut and put a replacement fitting on. in hindsight, I do wish I'd put the new, non-swivel fitting on the reel end, maybe I'll swap it around some day.

but I still know a good tool when I see one
I no longer build houses and decks, but I still know a good tool when I see one. I have not completely abused this one like I used to, but so far it shows no hint of failing. It looks and feels like a quality product. It is very, very light weight. You don't even know it's there. The coil is strong, but it only takes a minute to straighten it out. Then it coils right back up when you are done. One of the bend restrictors slid off. I put a drop of super glue and slid it back on. I have not had any more issues.I thought I was getting an inferior product for the great price. It turns out that I got a great product for an inferior price.

Great for flexibility and size.
I had been storing a regular 50 ft air hose in my RV along with a small compressor for emergencies and convenience. It was hard to work with. I was looking for a 25 foot replacement when I found this. It is 10 time more flexible, easily coils neatly, and takes 10th the space of my previous hose. I put couplers on the ends and am good to go. The price was great as well. Great product for what I needed. I rated durability a 4 since I have not had enough experience to really do justice to the rating. But it looks good to me

Light weight for sure but a little stiff
I got this hose because I wanted light weight and manuverability. Light weight ?...very but slightly stiff . Strain relief collar has come loose after very slight use and slid down the hose where it is doing no good and sometimes getting caught on things . Brass fittings seem fine so far . The fittings are not top of the line but decent . I have found over my 45 + years in the trades that these type of hoses do tend to get leaks due to abrasion more than heavier rubber hoses . There are some nice premium hoses on the market that are fairly light and flexible but they are very expensive . The heavy rubber hoses are durable but hard to handle .After i got this hose and was trimming windows on a ladder I decided to buy a Ryobi 18 volt 15 gauge angle finish nail gun . This hose definitely helped but it is still prone to getting wrapped around the ladder and an extra weight to drag around and lift when I am getting in position to shoot a nail . The battery gun is heavier on its own than the pneumatic gun , but all things considered maybe a better choice for most trim work . but if you are going pneumatic this is a pretty good hose choice .

Nice flexible short- run 1/4" hose!
This seems a great choice at a reasonable price to do your compressor to say a Brad Nailer or such. Just as unobtrusive as pneumatic hose gets, you know. This 25 footer seems ideal for the lighter (smaller diameter) hose. It is nicely made with good quality fittings. Keep in mind you will be adding female fittings to it, it comes 'bare' male. It was on Prime, was as represented and came on time. So I'm happy!

Light strong & flexible
Being a general contractor I can tell you that the hose is well-made in the areas that are most important. The connections on both ends of the hoes are reinforced which is usually the area that breaks down in an inferior product. The hose was tangle free during the use and you did not have to struggle to get more slack. Like any house you need to keep the twisting to a minimum in order to keep it from curling up on you. The only way to defeat that would do would be to have a swivel end attachment.

Will not lay straight
The hose is OK but not what I expected. It will not lay straight and wants to curl up. It is light weight and flexible but is harder to use than it should be since you have to uncoil it all of the time.
