A grilling must have!
This is my second product like this. We wanted another as we can use both on the grill at one time and would help with cooking. We already had one of these for 2-3 years (wire mesh by Bobby Shay) and searched for the similar product. Very close match! Used both the day it arrived for some thai beef and veggies. Love it for cooking sliced/chopped veggies and cut meats for shish kabobs (minus the stick). We did not want the flat metal with holes that seems to be for sale now. Spray first with cooking spray or use veggies tossed with oil but we've forgotten the spray occassionally. You can push/flip the food about while cooking for even distribution. It will keep all the tiny bits in the tray, a green pea won't even fall through. The mesh gets blackened over time but otherwise washes well. The handles are great for picking up with oven mitts. Usually we just brush with a bristly scrubber front and back and some dish washing soap. But it can also go in the dishwasher if you have room. No complaints!

Well made
We were considering buying yet another specialty countertop appliance, but we already have a convection oven/ range. So we decided to give this a try. Very happy with this basket. We use it for fries, tater tots, pre-packaged breaded fish, vegetables, etc. Here's a tip, use a cookie sheet underneath this with a wire cookie cooling rack in between so that air can circulate all around AND underneath the food while the cookie sheet catches the drippings and crumbs. Using the cookie sheet and cooling rack underneath this basket allows us to not have to flip the foods while everything comes out crispy and tasty. HOWEVER, if you are planning on using this with things that melt, like cheese, cleaning this can take some time and require a dish brush. One last thing is that this is bigger than we expected having been looking at separate countertop convection ovens.

Great way to cook anything small on the grill
This has added a lot of flexibility to using the grill - anything small cooks evenly in this basket and you can push things around with a spatula just like you would do on a sheet pan in the oven. I've used it for vegetables, shrimp, chicken hearts (yes weird I know) and have been impressed with the even cooking. WAY easier than getting out skewers for small items. PLUS you can just pick the whole thing up and carry it - moving all the food off the grill at once. Or moving all the food from the hot side to the cool side at once.It is starting to discolor after a few uses (and trips through the dishwasher) but that doesn't seem to impact performance. I'd definitely recommend this basket.

Note dimensions with and without the handles if your needs are specific
I want to love this, but ultimately couldn't use it. In the Amazon listing, the size says 14.75" wide. The manufacturer's packaging says 14.84". Either of those sizes would fit perfectly into my vertical smoker and into my over-sized toaster oven. Further down the listing, the actual dimensions are given under "product dimensions" which I mistakenly believed -- as with many item descriptions on Amazon -- represented the package dimensions (aka size of the box). As it turns out, with the handles, the overall size is about 2 inches wider than reflected in the listing and is too wide to work for me. If height matters in your situation, be aware that with the handles, the basket is taller than listed too.

This is the one you want.
I researched these and ended up ordering and using this one and am extremely happy with it. It is well built, quite heavy and is generous in size. I highly recommend it.The exact dimensions are:Handle to handle (outside): 16 3/4"Basket top, rim to rim (outside): 15" x 10 3/4"Useable cooking area (i.e., bottom of basket): 12 1/2" x 8 1/4 "(However, If you wanted to, you can add 1/4" or so, on all sides, by going a little up the slopes.)

Sturdy and nice!
I didn’t really know what to expect. But this was a lot nicer than what we’re were expecting for the price. I had initially bought it to sort out worms out of our worm casting container. After seeing how nice it was we decided to use it for grilling veggies.

Very high performing; will not let you down
I bought two of these for our grill at the beginning of the summer and they've been working hard non-stop. I grill in them; I use them as outdoor sieves for washing veggies. I bang them dry or to loosen burnt-on food. They seem indestructible.

Best Grill Basket
I have used a lot of different kinds of baskets for the grill, and this is my favorite. The food gets enough direct contact and the wire mesh is small enough for small foods. Seriously EVERYTHING goes on the grill thanks to this basket. All veggies, cut potatoes, you name it.
