These are awesome they make perfect spheres only thing is they are hard to keep close sometimes. Needs a clamp or something to help keep sealed. Other than that they are amazing

Very good at making resins orbs just have to shave down that one line cause it gives a little thin band of resin that hangs off

I found these to be very good molds for my needs. For a two-part pour, it is very easy to position objects in semi-set resin without the top hemisphere getting in the way. I also learned that applying a bit of heated beeswax with a soft bristle brush along the outside seam promotes a tight seal and eliminates leaking. The wax washes away easily with hot water. I will definitely purchase these again.

Leaves a seam around the center. What are people using to buff that out to make it smooth?

They don't line up or close properly.. or at least need infinite amount of patience and willpower. I've only managed to close one out of the whole set properly. Unsure of its reliability.

I made knobs and draw pulls for my kitchen cabinets using these molds (see photos). I put large sea urchins in the larger ones for lower draw pulls. Urchins took up most of the mold. Hot glued the hole at top of urchin from inside and hot glued the bold head to that. Filled with resin and braced so urchin wouldn't tilt in mold. Smaller upper knobs were made with smaller shells--put shells in mold and hot glued screw to middle shell as deep as possible. poured resin around/over shells till full. I predrilled holes in cabinets and screwed and unscrewed a screw in the hole with screw driver a couple times before screwing the knobs in to avoid loosening the screws within the resin. Photos aren't the greatest--sorry, but you can get an idea of how they came out. The molds allow the resin to come out shiny and clear which is very important. I'm sure I'll use these molds for other projects in the future.
