Good food wrap.
I had a couple rolls of food wrap that I really liked. When I used the last I found that it is no longer being sold, so had to find a replacement. I don't think the Reynolds 914 is quite as heavy as what I had, but it seems to hold up well, even in the microwave. It's really "clingy" and stays stuck in the fridge or freezer. There's no sliding cutter with the "Metro" line but rather a tooth-type cutter like you find on every roll of plastic wrap, but it works well and the box is heavy enough that it tears cleanly. I guess my only quibble was trying to figure out how to put the box together -- never having had a box this size I was a little confused at first, but no problem. I bought the 18" size because most of the things I cover with plastic are larger, but for smaller sizes the 12" would be more practical. Either way, I figure I'm saving quite a bit of money over what I'd spend at the market for "household" rolls. And this is definitely a superior product to what you can buy at the grocery store. Recommended for every kitchen, if you have the place to store and use it conveniently.

The most used supply in our pantry
Why buy those dinky rolls of plastic film when you can have this year-long supply. I use this stuff several times every day. It is the most used item in my kitchen.

My husband is big on plastic wrap so this should ...
My husband is big on plastic wrap so this should last us for a very long time. We also have started making musubi for once a month for his work so it really helps to have the larger plastic wrap to wrap each individual SPAM or egg Musubi! My only complaint is that from the very tiny picture I thought the cutting mechanism was a slider not a jagged metal edge.

Convenient, Easy to Use, Lasts Years: I Love It.
I enjoy the convenience of having a large, counter-top dispenser of food wrap. And this product suits my needs. This was an Amazon bargain, including free shipping. It's my third purchase of food wrap, each lasting 3-4 years with daily use. It's always at hand, not tucked away in a kitchen drawer or cabinet. The dispenser box's design is well thought out for the user, including a sharp cutting edge and a dispensing slit that allows a very short length of wrap to rest within easy reach for the next 'pull'.My counter-top easily accommodates the box's size. A full roll is rather heavy, so if you don't have counter-top space, having to store in a drawer or cabinet might not be quite as convenient. To coordinate kitchen colors I customize the outer box by completely wrapping it with contact paper, cutting access holes where needed. This procedure takes about ten minutes. The box's appearance can be updated easily with a new roll of contact paper.

Wimpy, wimpy, wimpy.
It's too wimpy. I would have liked a more sturdy film for my wrapping.

Love this wrap but the box comes beat up pretty bad it’s best to buy the plastic cutter box for it

Good most of the time....
This is a good product. We've probably bought hundreds of rolls for our restaurants over 10+ years (now retired). Our most recent roll had damaged packaging and the roll was put in backward, as it it had fallen out or come out and been put back in.

Fabulous Product
This is so hard to get hands on in a grocery store anymore. I'm set for life now. It's definitely food-service size. I don't know that I needed 18" wide, would probably not get it that wide again. It clings, it cuts well, and it is all that I need/want in a plastic wrap. I have used this before and if I ever need it again in my life, I'll get it again. 2000 feet should last me at least 10-12 years. I don't plan to wrap myself in it, but I saw this done at a salon. I'm sticking to wrapping up food.
