Quality compost
Really love this compost, I use this to mix into my potting soil with some worm castings and so far my container plants love it!

This saved my raised bed tomatoes!
I had basil plant and tomato plant that I had nursed since seeds, and they started out great but just weren't thriving like I wanted after a few weeks. After some brief research, I found out that they probably needed compost. I came across this brand that had many great reviews, and holy moly - they were right! After just one application, my tomatoes started growing way more foliage and the stems were finally starting to thicken to prepare for fruit growth. After two applications, my tomato plant bloomed like crazy, and I now have about 15-20 blossoms in which about 5 are bearing fruit at their current stage! My basil went crazy and has turned into a full on basil bush now, with super healthy stems and leaves.i am having trouble keeping up with its growth by pruning it's flowers, it's growing so well. I cannot recommend this product enough! I used maybe two to four cups total for both plants inside my raised bed and I still have so much left for the next growing season. It's so affordable if you don't have the ability or time to compost yourself.

Magic Stuff
This stuff is terrific. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and I have been using Charlies for several years. In the fall I put two handfuls of this stuff on every plant that is dying back. If I think about it I dump another 2 handfuls on the plant stub in the very early spring, end of February beginning of March. This stuff works like magic. The first blooms are always big with big healthy leaves on hearty stalks and the flowers even seem to be more colorful than ever. I picture the folks in the Charlies Compost barn in Kentucky bagging chicken crap and dirt up while they laugh their heads off. "Hey I got an idea, bag it up and ship it to California." Laughing at how stupid I am paying $22 bag. But it works like a dream and I am standing by my statement. Try it and see for yourself.

Good for if you live in an area with sandy soil.
It's dry odor free. It seems to dry hard and crusty after being mixed with dirt spread around a newly planted tree and watered. I will mix some more other kinds of compost in later for better moisture retention. But the hard crust is good to keep the tree from being blown over in the wind.

Clean and Gentle Compost for All Plants
Very good compost for all plants, I don't like to add too much fertilizer and the compost is a gentle supplement for flowers and vegetables. Charlie's is a clean and good compost and I highly recommend it for all landscaping and plants, doesn't require strict measuring, just add a little under the plants and water it in. I add some maybe once a month during the growing season, depending on how the plants are doing.

No odors and looks good
I purchased this for a dirted aquarium "father fish style". So far it looks good. I have a lot left over, wish I had a garden for the rest

Probably could have done without
It covered more than I expected. I am having mushrooms now. I don’t feel like my plants are thriving more with using this in vs past years where I’ve used nothing.
