Excellent product
I ordered this probiotic to fight a constant constipation. Many other probiotics I tried before did not work at all, or had an insignificant effect. This one created a bacteria colony that eliminated my morning toilet problem. Most probably is has other positive effects for my gut, however so far I do not have evidence for that. Highly recommended! Thank you so much!

Great Company with Reliable & Quality Bacteria Products
I'd originally thought I'd get a cheaper version of this probiotic, for home fermenting. The more I studied, the more I saw that the (GG) strain is what provides the effective benefits. The previous brand didn't state which strain, and I frankly hadn't noticed much effect. I switched to Supersmart specifically because of the explicit listing of the GG strain. I also buy their L-Reuteri, which is high quality and good colony quantity. Research shows I can combine both the Reuteri and the Rhamnousus in a single ferment. Both these bacteria often are simply called "lactobacillus," implying they can easily be made into yogurt with milk. That's not accurate. In 2020, the broad category of lactobacillus bacteria was refined, adding various sub-categories. Reuteri and Rhamnosus apparently are part of the Limosi- subgroup, so the true name is Limosilactobacillus. One of the metabolites of these bacteria is a form of ethanol, which is why so many people have trouble with milk curdling during culturing and fermenting. The solution is to ferment them in something like apple juice -- store-bought is fine. When I started doing that, everything worked perfectly. Can I tell if this product is really making a large amount of probiotic? Yes, I can. I'm actually quite sensitive to alcohol and can't drink beverages with much of any alcohol at all. I can taste it, and actually feel a tingle in the back of my throat when there's any alcohol present in something I'm ingesting. I do a 36-hour ferment with both these bacteria -- 1 capsule of each in 1 quart of apple juice (104F degrees). When it's done, I can taste a small amount of alcohol. Then, I let it sit on top of the fridge for a few days more, and by then I may as well be drinking a portion of wine or Champaigne. Most of the sugar in the apple juice is gone, leaving a more tart tasting juice. I only use about 1 oz of the fermented juice each morning, and mix it with another 2 oz. of orange juice. Even that small amount very definitely has a bit of a "kick" to it. So yes; these bacteria from Supersmart are indeed alive, viable, and provide an ample amount per capsule for successful fermenting. Excellent stuff!

If you’re on antibiotics, take these. Your guts will thank you.
One of two prebiotics that Grok recommended when I was placed on six weeks of strong IV antibiotics. They saved my guts from normal G.I. discomfort associated with antibiotic usage. My first week, prior to taking these was “uncomfortable “ to put things mildly. Once I started taking them, everything was completely back to normal. A true lifesaver.

Miracle. In my daily now!
This one strand is a game changer for me. I started researching single stands and tried this and wow. More effective than expensive brands too. I had SIBO and treated it and thus has helped even with inulin (which isn't recommended with sibo ) glad I took a chance. Good for slow digesters and hypothyroid in my opinion.

Great 👍
So far very good 😊 and unlike other well known brands with the same strain, this one has safe inactive ingredients.

Probiotics are dead on arrival
Unfortunately, probiotics did not work when being used to make yogurt. I regularly make L. Reuteri yogurt with probiotics from another company which works perfectly every time. L. Rhamnosus and Reuteri use inulin as a substrate, which is why I decided to try this probiotic for yogurt to increase the probiotic count I can consume daily. I followed the same exact process is use to make my L. Reuteri yogurt and after the 36 hours the milk went bad and I dumped it all down the drain. If these probiotics were alive, I should have perfect yogurt, but that wasn't the case. I should add that I used 2 capsules of this product (10 billion count) and I use 2 billion count L. Reuteri to make yogurt. So it was not the amount used that made the yogurt fail. Will not be buying again and wouldn't recommend this product. But when buying probiotics I do recommend testing it by making yogurt with it. Search what substrate that specific strain needs to feed off of to multiply and if it doesn't work the probiotic is most likely dead.
