Shure N44C Turntable Replacement Needle for M44C - Light Blue

WOW, This was a surprise 👍🏼. Purchased to pop into a vintage technics headshell I picked up that was supposed to have a stanton d5100 cart and stylus, but to my surprise it arrived with a good looking Shure M44-7 cart and no needle. While looking at the Holy Grail of carts for a technic 1200 set-up I needed to know how it would sound so tried this stylus. To my surprise this needle in a Shure M44-7 has nicer bass, and just as good mids/highs as a brand new DJ Q-Bert ortofon OM setup. Super happy. + Great replacement for the Shure M44-7 stylus

Nice product for the price obviously not in the same league as the high end stylus but it sounds good. Only complaint is that I value my records and change out every 6 months because I feel the quality of the needle deteriorates.

I bought this for use on my shure m55e cartridge for playing 45's and older and not so good 12 " records. The sound of these two together are simply amazing. I've never heard 45's and old Beatles records sound better. This is supposed to be a .6 mil conical verses the average .7mil. Not sure if it actually is but so far the quality and sound are great. A must have replacement. Highly recommend. Couldn't say enough about having this and a Shure m91ed to switch out with. Small side note, this does fit the Shure m55e but its not a snug fit. It slides in and out very easy. I've had no problems with it falling out of the cartridge, but it is a very loose fit. Works and sounds like a dream.

Wow, I am so impressed with the sound and quality of this needle.. I recently broke my last Shure n447 needle. Works perfect for scratching with vinyl and also DVS.. I use serato dj pro I set this needles at 2.5 weight Recommend if you’re looking for a replacement for your shure n447 with our breaking the bank...

I’m shocked at how good these low-priced replacements are! It’s ridiculous how some vendors are trying to sell the original replacements for 100s!!!! I was scared to get them because of some reviews. But these do the job and sound crisp and clear. They scratch perfectly. Sharp! Love them. Might have to stock up since others will buy them out if I don’t!

Like many others I was relieved to find a replacement stylus for my Sure M-447 cartridges. The price point on these is great. They sound pretty good, and seemed to be able to handle heavy bass with decent clarity (I play a lot of Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop, and Drum & Bass music). However, they do not track very well when cuing a record or trying even simple scratching. I've tried recalibrating my Technique 1200's, experimented with different tonearm weight, but still having issues, with both needles. If you're looking for a decent M-447 replacement, these will fit, and sound great, but not for performance, in my experience.

This thing is amazing! Maybe a bit better at digging out the highs than the OEM. Plays old and less than perfect vinyls without a fuss. Totally worth it. Technics headshell, SL1200 Mk3
