Sirius SSP1935 5 volt AC Adapter for Sirius Home Kits

I bought the car kit because I couldn't find a home installation option. When I found out I needed a power adapter, I found this one. Maybe I could have saved some money if I didn't need to buy the car kit. The adapter works anyway.

I've got a Sportster 4 with a car kit, and wanted to take it inside my house. I made the mistake of purchasing several AC adapters on eBay, and every darned one of them was incorrect. Wrong size, wrong voltage, etc. What a hassle. I was hesitant to try again from this seller on Amazon, but was I wrong...The second I plugged it in the the cradle for the Sportster 4, everything worked perfectly! I can finally use the unit inside my house, and stop my long frustrating search for this adapter.

Buyer beware. The item that I rec'd is not a Sirius brand adapter as described in product name. The product # that I rec'd is model #SMPS5V2A-XM. There is no red light indicator as described.This power adapter does NOT fit *ALL* Sirius and XM 5 volt satellite radios. This adapter does not fit an old Sirius radio "SV1" model which is a 5 volt model, the tip is too small for this model.This adapter does fit an old XM radio "XM2go" model which is a 5 volt model, and works well.But it is much cheaper than buying the Sirius brand adapter, and it works if the tip size is correct for the radio model. For that I give it 3 stars.Side note on satellite radios: Sirius and XM satellite radios are not one and the same, and neither are the subscription channels...depends on what your radio receives. The Sirius & XM radios are made differently and the stations that they receive are different. On that note, be sure to check with SiriusXM.com for specific subscription costs before you buy a radio to help you choose whether you want a Sirius or XM radio.I learned this the hard way. I hope this saves you some time and hassle.

Round & round I go this these stupid adapters. I purchased a XM car doc - well guess what - doesn't fit the car doc - but whom ever wrote the product description - left off this detail - apparently - these adapters will ONLY fit the XM HOME doc ... stupid stupid stupid - but I guess - someone @XM figured if they sell two doc's - then ya can't use your home doc in your car & you can't use your car doc in your home ... plain & simple - it's a frustrating cash grab - yes I know - I could have just bought the darn home kit & been done with it - but - you can buy a doc / ac adapter & antenna for less then what the home kit costs - but the frustrating & annoying thing is the product descriptions aren't detailed enough & u'r kinda blind in trying to put this together - oh well ... first world problem - I know ...

Bought this on Amazon.com, was not sure if it would last or hold up or work long. But now after more than 6 months of use it is still doing just perfect, works great would recommend to others and at low price.

The price was right. It arrived promptly. It worked perfectly for my Sirius radio - an exact match for the original. I couldn't have been more pleased. I recommend this product and seller to all.

xm charger and can be used with suph1 ,xm xpress radios .Used with home dock also works with onyx home dock

It is reliable and good. I wish it was smaller. It works really well. I do not have problems with this.
