Took a gamble after reading the few reviews in Amazon...Glad I did!
I hope this information helps prospective buyers: Overview- I installed this fan 6/13/2019 in a master bedroom about 17'x17'. I was looking for a whisper quiet fan with ability to move a lot of air for those hot/dry California Summers. I also needed a fan with lights bright enough to provide the only source of light for a master bedroom. Because of this, I only looked for fans with multiple light sockets, rather than ones with covered dome lights. The fan has worked flawlessly. It is extremely quiet. I can’t hear it at all at night, even though it sits above me while I am on my bed. In the highest speed setting (I believe it is a 6 speed), it moves an impressive amount of air. I do not foresee ever needing the 5th or 6th speed setting while I sleep (It’s just too much wind). The lights do a great job of making the large room very bright. In summary, I am a big fan of this fan (pun intended). Installation- Same as every other ceiling fan. I had no issues. There are plenty of videos online on how to install ceiling fans. The fan is a little heavier than other fans I installed, but not insanely heavy. Once everything was installed, and power added, the fan came to live with no issues. The remote control receiver module at the fan is located inside its housing. There is no access to it unless you take the housing apart. So if you are hoping to change the frequency setting on the receiver or remote control, this will not be an option. The receiver and control are paired at the factory. The fan has no pull chains to speak of. Please know this fan is strictly controlled via remote control!!! Operation- Like other reviewers have noted, the fan assembly (not the remote) does beep every time you send a command to it via the remote control. While this can be annoying and outright unforgivable if someone else is sleeping in the room, I find this function useful and necessary, since the fan lets me know by its beep that it has indeed received a command. Every time you turn on the fan function, it takes a few seconds for the fan blades to actually start spinning. Once it does begin, it goes through a balancing evolution of sorts where the fan blades spin slowly back and forth in both directions before actually beginning the full spinning momentum. The initial beep lets you know that the fan has indeed received your command to start spinning. Initially I would turn on the fan (it would indeed beep), and when nothing happened within a second or so I would press the button again, in essence turning the fan back off. Now, I have learned to trust the beep when I turn the fan on. Once I hear the beep, I walk away knowing that the fan blades will commence spinning in a matter of seconds. If you do not have the ability to wait 4 seconds or so after pressing the button for the fan to actually begin spinning, this is not the fan for you! (I have little patience myself, but the delay does not bother me). Remote- The remote included with the fan works incredibly well. Connectivity between the fan and control is perfect. Every single time I press a button on the remote control, the fan beeps and lets me know it has received the command. No need to hit a button more than once for the fan to get the command. I attached the remote control on wall about 8 feet away with zero issues on connectivity. Summary- I purchased this fan for about $300. While this is a little steep for a fan, considering I can buy a brand new one at the local home improvement store for $50, I believe it is well worth the price. I would purchase it again without hesitation. I will be keeping an eye on it in the near future and if it ever goes on sale I will purchase 2 more to replace older fans in my house! The fan does looks custom and expensive. My wife loves the look of it, and I appreciate the high quality of its construction.

Beautiful fan and easy to use
It is a beautiful fan and very quiet. Moves a lot of air. Easy to install.1. Do not install the fan or the light fixture on a dimmer switch. The lights will not dim properly and the fan will hum.2. Use only an on-off switch, but leave it turned on. The remote control will control the fan in lights .3. The remote is easy to use but every time you change the fan speed it does beep. It is not very loud at all.4. When you first turn the fan on it will rotate backwards for about one turn and then begin to move forward slowly. When it reaches full speed. It is very quiet. This is normal.5. The only downside; the remote receiver is integrated into the fan body. If it goes out. The fan is shot. No pool chain. You can buy other fans with a pull chain and purchase a remote receiver separately that installs in the dome of the fan. Italian Countryside by Hunter would be a nice choice. If receiver goes out, it can be replaced. An excellent fan and a beautiful addition to any room.

Very quiet fan.
Very nice fan. Super quiet and looks nice. The color is a little dark for my room but it still works with the overall color scheme.

Quiet, well-balanced, great-looking fan!
Love this fan, installed 6 of them in a 19th century home and they look amazing! Easy to install and comes with all the necessary hardware. Also bought matching down rods from Hunter and they are easy to install as well. Appreciate not having pull chains, and the lighting can be adjusted to gradually dim when switched on. Each remote is paired with each fan so there's no interference if you buy multiple.

Pretty but does not Work well! HUNTER knows this issue and has not resolved!
The fan is very pretty. But, the lights actually aren't dimmable, and cannot operate solely by switch. The fan also stalls for about 10-15 seconds and goes in both directions every time you turn it on, before it actually starts to spin . (See attached video). The fan was turned on as soon as the video started. Very disappointed and made the decision to return it.

Confusing fan/light operation
This fan is confusing and annoying at the same time. The installation instruction show the correct wiring specifically if you have one ore two switches, which would imply the use of those switches to turn it on or off. But the fan only seems to work if you have the fan switch on and then use the remote to then turn it on. The light switch works opposite. If the light switch is on and the remote was used to turn off the light, the switch then turns the light on if you switch the light off. The remote makes the fan beep loudly at every push from it. And the fan then beeps three loud times when pushing the fan or light off from the remote. Why? NOTHING in the description or manual states that this fan will beep every time a button is pushed. My dog thinks the smoke alarm is chirping and he hates the smoke alarm. I hate that it beeps every time the remote is pushed. The instructions talk about syncing the remote if the fan beeps three times. But then also says if you hear one beep after syncing ,that it is correct. I get both. The light will not dim at all. The manual says to long press the light button on the remote to dim lights, but it only turns the lights completely off along with that special three beeps to wake everyone up if they are sleeping. I’m utterly confused on the correct way to jump through hoops in order to operate this fan. It should be simple. This is a case of technology being more of a burden than a help.
