Great projector; great features
We have only had this projector for a week, but have used it in a couple meetings so far and it meets or exceeds our expectations in all regards. We love the wireless capability. We have multiple users with laptops, and with the wireless connection we can easily switch the presenter in a matter of seconds without having to unplug anything. The pause feature is nice as well, so you can do something private on your laptop - such as read an email - then continue displaying your live screen. I saw other reviews complaining about the noise. We have a moderate sized conference room - about 15x22 with high ceilings - so the fan noise is not an issue for us at all. And to be honest, I don't think the fan is much louder, if at all, than our old Dell projector. This projector also has a neat feature allowing a split screen between 2 inputs. I doubt we will use this feature, but it could be handy for some users. You can also connect from mobile devices, such as an iPhone or iPad. While you can't project everything from your screen, it does let you project certain things such as photos - which can be useful.

Fantastic projector, and delivered promptly with no problems.
The auto-fit and autofocus features work flawlessly. You can even set the projector up to show at the screen from a fairly sharp side angle, and the auto-fit properly locates the screen, adjusts to fill it, and sets vertical and horizontal keystone perfectly the first time. Impressive. Colors are bright and vivid. Thought my previous DLP Casio was good. This is far, far better. I present for a living, and this projector is truly professional-grade. NOTE FOR WINDOWS USERS: As of Windows 7, microsoft installs "Virtual" wireless adapters that enable connection sharing. These virtual adapters interfere with the projector's ability to connect ad-hoc. Simply disable the virtual adapters in device manager, and the projector will connect as it should. It took me half the night to figure finally find the single Epson support forum answer from 2010 that explains this. You can always re-enable the virtual adapters if you need to use connection-sharing (so long as you do not need to use wireless with the projector at the same time).

Great
excellent projector. Very colorful and bright. Only issue is auto frame is not very good, but it only takes a couple extra moments to set up. Bottom line though, is you want a projector that is crisp, bright and colorful. This is the best I have used.

Epson 1776W ---Great projector for the mobile presenter
As a photography instructor teaching in various locations, I had some specific needs: quick setup and tear down, portability, bright lamp and good color fidelity. I have had this projector about a month and so far, I love it. I don't find the fan noise that bad. It may be an issue if I were to use it to watch a movie in a small room without an amplified sounds system. I love the ability to connect and project what's displayed on my MacBook Pro wirelessly via WiFi. Just know when connecting using this WiFi mode, video doesn't play as well and you will need to use an ethernet cable to connect to your router if you want to be connected to the internet. If you plan to display video, it's best to connect via HDMI or any of the other hard wire connectors: USB, VGA or even RCA. Features like Quick Corner, Fit the Screen and automatic keystone correction means I don't have to arrive 40 minutes early to setup. I just wish projector screens today are wider than tall so projectors like this can truly shine.

Great for use with multiple computers, including my MacBook Pro
I just recently bought this projector after using a friend's one during presentations. I especially love the ability we had to hook both of our computers up to the projector and rapidly switch back and forth between them. Mine was hooked up with a VGA cable and his was hooked up wirelessly. The fan does make a bit of noise, and interestingly it made more of a difference in some rooms than others, even if the audience was roughly the same size. We had no complaints about hearing though. The projector is bright enough to run in Eco mode in most situations and this greatly reduces the sound of the fan. It's especially handy that you can connect to the projector simply through a USB cable, which really helps if you use a Mac and forget your special VGA dongle. With USB there is no adaptor needed, though you do need to install a little app. This app self-installs from the projector to your Mac the first time you hook up with a USB cable. Very neat. Note that if you connect wirelessly to the projector, or use the USB connection, you can only mirror what is on your Mac's screen. You need to hook up with VGA to use the projector as a secondary monitor and have your presenter screen on your Mac.

I would be grateful if it had been equipped with batteries to display slides without power cables.
This equipment is awesome, but you cannot use the wireless mode to show videos, so you must use cables USB/HDMI for that. The mobile application is useful to show photos using wireless mode, but it is not suitable to navigate the web. It would be wonderful if there were batteries to avoid using energy cables for some time, maybe during one or two hours. Even so, I am impressed and satisfied with it and I can recommend it!

Totally unresponsive store.
This works good unless someone bumps the table, it then needs to be refocused My problem is that I have been trying to contact the Crawford's Superstore which sold this and have gotten no response!

This is probably the best projector money can buy... It is wireless, so it connects to your local network or in standalone mode the projector creates its own wireless network for you to hook your laptop wirelessly and display your presentations, movies, etc. without the need of cables. It includes a wireless USB dongle for the projector (you have to install it.) and a USB wireless dongle for your windows PC. If you have a mac you only need to download and install the Epson Network Projection (Easy MP) and you are ready to present! It has the standard VGA cable and also a USB cable for "plug and play" presentations... This unit also features 1 HDMI ( Yes it can project HD content ), 1 VGA , 2 USB (A and B) ports, 1 RCA video input, rear and front receiver for the remote. This unit also has an "eco" mode which cuts the lumens to 1700 (makes no noise and is very quiet) and normal mode which gives you 3000 lumens (the fans will kick-in at full speed from time to time). The auto calibrate and auto centre feature is really good. I guess they call it : "Screen Fit" (this unit has a front camera which detects where the projection screen area is located and self adjust to give you the best image it can.) Another plus from this unit is that the replacement bulbs are not very expensive (they are way cheaper than other brands) and it is rated for 4000 hours. I never need to use the remote control but if you ever need to, it is provided with this unit. A case for the projector is also included. BEEF: This unit only has a single speaker. If you use the HDMI cable to project, all the sound will come from the tiny speaker. You can barely hear it in a large room. This unit has a normal 3.5 headphone jack, however, there is no indication that it can be used as an audio out port (I wish this port could be used for audio out to hook up better speakers.)

La tecnología del proyector es muy buena. El 'autofit' realmente ajusta la imagen al tamaño de la pantalla. Sin embargo, este proyector debe ser usado en lugares oscuros para obtener el mejor desempeño.

Not as bright as I expected it to be but I am mostly sad that there is one obvious blue pixel in the projected area. I find that such an important flaw for something this costly is quite the blunder. It makes me reconsider my opinion of Epson products. I am faced with having to return it (and risk getting a refurbished one instead of a new one), ask for a refund, or stick with it, despite the blue spot... :( Furthermore, I bought this projector to run Powerpoint presentations but it doesn't work. After buying the projector and reading the manual I learn that presentations need to be converted to .fse scenarios via their provided software (EasyMP Slide Converter) but this software doesn't recognize Powerpoint 2016... On Epson's site, there is no patch for this software... This means their claim that it can run powerpoint presentations is false until they patch their really old software. Not good.
