Great Sand Filter Pump! The 18'x42' Coleman pool I have did not have a great filter pump. The pump that came with the pool was too small for keeping 7,000 gallons of water clean and the chemicals balanced. I needed more flow to keep the water circulating. The pump I just installed has a timer, recirculate feature, backwash, rinse and filter. It’s easy to install and I think it’s priced well too. I’ve had a good summer, with less work needed in my pool care. The water flows a lot better, is crystal clear, and it’s easier to keep the chemicals in balance. I haven’t had any issues with water getting stagnant or algae. Also when putting the sand in for the first time, add half the sand and wet in so it settles then fill with the rest of the sand to fill line and wet again, check to see if it's at least at the fill line, if not you'll need to add more.

I don’t usually write reviews but felt this warranted one. If you have an above ground pool you need this. This is our third summer with our pool and our first summer with this filter. It was so hard to maintain the pool in the past with the A/C filters that you remove and rinse. It would take a week(s) to make a green pool clean and clear. This sand filter works so well and not only does the water flow faster it is also a more powerful stream. The filter doesn’t take up much space and is very easy to use. We hadn’t swam in the pool all week and I forgot to add a new chlorine tab so it was starting to turn green. I put in chlorine, algaecide and clarifier and the filter had it clear in less than two days. Very impressed with the quality and price. It didn’t cost much more than it would have cost to replace the old tiny filter that came with the pool. I have faith it will last for many years!

Fit perfect, very sturdy and functions great, the design worked well with the above ground pool and was easy to get installed.

This Intex 3,000 GPH pump and filter has been a total upgrade for our above ground pool. It moves a ton of water and keeps the pool sparkling clean with very little effort. We noticed a huge improvement in water clarity within the first day of using it. Setup was easy with clear instructions and all the necessary fittings included. One of my favorite features is the built-in timer setting—it’s super convenient and takes the guesswork out of daily run times. Just set it and forget it! If you’re looking for a reliable and high-performance pump, this one does the job right. Definitely worth the investment!

We love this! One of the best purchases to upgrade our pool. Keeps our pool clean and the size it perfect for our 6000 gallon pool size. Does get hot during day but ours is sitting in direct sunlight all day long. We keep it going probably 20 hours a day and it has worked perfect. No problems at all. Filled with sand and has been going since. Has lots of options on it which helps keep water clean. Instructions are super easy and install was quick. Doesn’t disappoint. Just get it. Makes it super easy and powerful.

This was an upgrade for the 1500gph Krystal Clear sand filter that came with my 9x18' vinyl pool. This 2100gph is hugely, massively better than the 1500. Can't believe I waited five years to upgrade. Much more powerful waterflow. I don't have to backwash nearly as often as the little 10" filter that came with the pool. Very simple installation. The setup video QR code provided an easy reminder how to put the sand into the filter.

I installed that pump on a SummerWave round 15 feet above ground pool. I reused the SummerWave skimmer but it need to be significantly modified to accommodate the pump that requires at least 1.5' intake so it doesn't get too stressed. I used cheap sand from Leslie's Pool Supply and it doing a great job, I particularly appreciate the fact that I don't have to change the paper filters so often, and also that the capacity of the pump is much greater so the pool gets clean in a very short amount of time. The timer isn't great, it seems to start at approximate time every day, later than the previous day everyday. Also, you can't program for multiple time a day. I solve the issue by using a smart plug and programmed it on Google (Alexa would do the same) so it runs for 1 hour every 4 hours. The building quality isn't great, the plastic used to support the filter is very fragile and break while I was filling it with sand. it still works with it broken but it tells a lot on the durability.

Pump was easy to assemble. Some tips tho. when placing, please put it where it's gonna stay cause it does not move easily with sand and water. Read the instructions carefully. Do not move the inner tube assembly while filling with sand. Should get at least 2 bags of 50lb sand to fill to proper height, not 1 bag. Honestly most of this was pretty simple to put together and the pump does actually work quite well, very quiet. I like the timer on it also. The aerator also balanced my ph level so very cool just be aware this is for pools 15' Diameter or more. Anything smaller is kinda overkill.

Para los que tienen una piscina Bestway como nosotros (15000 litros), también les funciona muy bien este filtro de arena, solo tienen que comprar unos adaptadores intex (B) para que puedan embonar las mangueras con las entrada/salida de la piscina, es muy útil este filtro para mantener muy limpia el agua, parece difícil de armar y poner a funcionar pero no lo es, con el manual y un video de YouTube de refuerzo es suficiente para ponerla en funcionamiento, nosotros compramos arena de sílice filtrante 20/30, usa aproximadamente 12 kilos de arena, pero solo conseguimos un costal de 50 kilos y la verdad bastante económico (130 pesos) así que tendremos arena para muchos años :D Espero les sirva mi reseña, porque yo en lo particular quería una reseña así y no la encontré

I considered this pump for far to long. I wish I baught it a month ago. I have an 18' round bestway pool. We have a small grey 8400 gallon pump. Our pool holds just over 8200 gallons. It just wasn't moving the water much. Time to upgrade. The 2800 pump was cheaper than the 2100 so I got the 2800 on sale. It's perfect. I thought it would be to powerful however I am thrilled for my choice. The water is moving nicely now. The pump was super easy to install. I watched the video. It was easy to follow. I did purchase an attachment kit but I didn't need it at all. The hoses i have are compatible. Keeping it, as its always nice to have extra pieces. The only pieces I will purchase will be the shut off valve for the intake hoses so I dont have to use the black stoppers when I empty the leaf basket. It is so quiet I have to keep checking if its on. Great price Great pump.
