GREAT PRODUCT (BUT READ THE LABEL!!)
I purchased the 10 lb. size of this product in spring of 2024 and it did excellent damage control/eradication on my roses suffering from thrips and aphids. IMPORTANT: This formula is different from a 5 lb. Bayer 2-in1 I purchased this year, in 2025. They have different dosing instructions as well. This one's dosage (10 lb. jug) is 1/2 cup per rose bush, every 6 weeks. The 5 lb. 2025 product's dosage is 1 capful (2 oz) per rose bush, every 8 weeks. READ THE LABEL to find out which formula you have, as the active ingredients and dosages are vastly different. You don't want to apply too much (or too little), or at the wrong frequency.

turns out it's poisonous to honeybees and mason bees. last one I'll buy
Really works for roses; also got rid of scale insects on pyrocanthus!

Beautiful blooms and healthy plants
Yes, this product is expensive, but after using the items that have to be reapplied after every rainstorm, it was a blessing. You only have to apply it once every 4 to 6 weeks and it produces beautiful blooms and prevents the pests that destroy your beautiful blossoms. I do not have roses. I use it on coneflowers, zinnias, salvia, dahlias even my shrubs, and I’m very satisfied with the results. Highly recommend!

Nice product but don’t make the mistake I did
Update: my roses have never had this many blooms! I’m attached pictures of just 3 of my roses. I have never had this many roses on my plants. The climbing rose (salmon colored)was just planted last summer so it’s fairly new. The lilac colored one is about 2 yrs old and gets less sun but still the most blooms I’ve ever had. I’ve applied 3 applications so far, every 6wks religiously. I will always use this fertilizer!! Put this on all my roses and the growth is coming in fast. We will see how the flowers compare to previous years when I did nothing this early. Important…make sure you have plants that are edibles at least 3ft away. I have a raspberry bush fairly close to my climbing rose and I didn’t realize until after I applied this stuff that it cannot be that closely applied to edibles. So now I have to wait a year to be able to eat my raspberries again. I’m so disappointed. This was a terrible mistake to make. I better have some beautiful roses to make up for it haha.

Roses love it
I've used this product for years and my roses are floriferous and insect free. My location is noted for its high aphid population, but none survive a timely application. I feed my plants every four to six weeks from February through September and am delighted with its efficacy.

If you have roses 🌹 🌹🌹
I live in the Pacific Northwest & we had a hot hot hot summer! My roses lost all their leaves in July. I was watering ever other day but with not enough fertilizer in the soil the poor roses could hardly survive. I went o the store & I tried five stores & no one had anything. I looked online on Amazon & they had Bayer Bio Advanced. So I bought this one. I put it on immediately then watered the roses & within three days leaves started coming back & there were many blooms on the plants. I did it again in a month even though it said a longer time between fertilizing. They were getting healthier by the day, I was able to get three fertilizing before October & have some for next spring as well.
