Make Your Own Boots

What a great video. I bought this video even though I took this class with the author at his shop two years ago and I have to say this video is comprehensive a guide as you can get without being there in person.You cannot go wrong if you are experienced or a novice leather worker or shoe maker. It covers not only how to make the boots, but tools, materials, alternative tools and materials, methods, and animations of the processes. Plus you can follow the author on facebook, and through his website where he offers tools, materials, and complete kits to get started.

This video is so worth the money! Loved his first video and this second is certainly no disappointment! The instructions are clear and easy to follow, after just watching I have no doubts I can do this. The process is long, and there are many steps but have no fear this video will carry you through the making of your own pair of boots!

I own both DVD’s by Jason and Village Video. Jason is an excellent teacher who is very thorough and detailed with his instruction. Both DVD’s are filmed and produced very well. No stone is left unturned. You will have all the information and insight to complete both projects. I would highly recommend both DVD’s and will support any of their future projects. Great job gentlemen.

If you are interested in crafting then this is a DVD worth considering, I initially backed on kickstarter and was very pleased with the result, I now have a pile of leather waiting to be turned into boots.

This is quite simply idiot proof! Superb quality including the editing and graphics. I feel absolutely confident that I will be able to make some awesome footwear.
