Air King 9119 18-Inch 3-Speed Commercial Grade Adjustable Oscillating Pedestal Fan, 1/20-Horsepower, White

Being an older woman living in Southern Arizona I have a lot of experience with fans. This is a good one - it can be adjusted up high, so great for use at night when your bed is tall, just the perfect noise level for white noise for sleep, and a HUGE volume of air flow to keep me cool at night! The air volume along is spectacular! I am very pleased with it despite it arriving with a missing part. Because of the pandemic & my reluctance to schlepp this thing to an Amazon drop off, I called the company itself, and they shipped me the missing part! After getting the missing part, there was another issue with the blades hitting the covers. To be fair, I’m fairly sure I created this problem when I put the parts back in the box while waiting for the missing piece. The fan blades are plastic so I spent some time bending them into shape and eventually they moved freely within the fan housing. In conclusion, if you want a really great fan that is bordering on industrial strength but still affordable, this is a great purchase!

I loved that it had the front steel 18in gril it had lubed bearings its worth getting the value is great the noise level is great build is great so far no issues with the fan it works as expected it makes me freezing cold the only complaint is it's a pain to assemble but other than that it's a great fan.

These are garbage. I bought 2 of these, one refurbished. The refurbished one had a cracked height adjuster, so it wouldn't stay up. I started to return it, but didn't want to deal with taking it and dropping it off. The second ones head broke maybe 30 days after I got it, completely unusable. If you're going to sell refurbished products, make sure it's useable and fixed.

The quality is ok, the base is huge and I mean huge but not heavy. It was blowing great and fast, was very happy. I realized I only had it on low and thought it was on high. WOW turned it on high and it was like a tornado in my room...this thing puts it out and so fast. Its not crazy loud considering how much air it pushes. It can tilt and rotate ..If it last it will be worth every penny.

Firstly, make sure you take note of this fan’s description; when they say ‘Commercial Grade’ they mean Commercial Grade. I perpetually run hot, but I have to angle this fan away from me, because not only is the breeze cold enough to make me burrow under my covers, but the, uh, blow strength? is strong enough to whip my hair around from a good 8 feet away. I love it! In all honesty, it doesn’t feel super sturdy, but it IS sturdy - I’ve bumped into it several times and it hasn’t budged. Assembly was easy and I haven’t had any problems with it. I am glad, however, that I didn’t go with the industrial version - that sucker can probably move furniture! All in all, great value and I would recommend.

This is a nice fan. Quiet, and pretty sturdy. I would have given it more stars, but it doesn't really out out a lot of air compared to the one we already had. Will update it when I know how long it lasts. But it's made in the USA, and that's the biggest reason I bought it.

Seems a bit noisy to me

I purchased this item from Amazon several weeks ago for $69.00. It is a very nice fan and performs just as advertised. Today I was in Lowe's and the very same fan was on display except it had the Lasko name on it. The shocker was the price....it was $22.97, $47.00 less than the price at Amazon.com. I bought three of them at Lowe's for $74.42, tax included. Plus, being retired military, I got my 10% discount, making my total cost for the fans,$66.98. Three fans at Lowe's for less than the price of one at Amazon.com. When I got home, I unpacked one of them to make a comparison. I was shocked to find that it was the exact same fan. The only difference was the Air King had a metal front grill and the Lasko was plastic....so what? I don't think the metal grill is worth $47.00. It is the exact same motor (identical to the Air King), it extends the same 54 1/2 inches, the same 18" blade, same cord with the blue plug and the same 20" base. Folks if you are considering one of these, save some money and head for Lowe's. You'll get the same fan for a whole lot less money. BTW, it was not on sale at Lowe's...that was their normal everyday price. Right now, I'm packing the one from Amazon back up to send it back to them...What a rip!
