Does what it is supposed to do.
Had a leak in my car from my sunroof, I went in and tried to dry as much as I can out of the car (under carpet as well), but I could tell there was still dampness and humidity in the car deep inside the carpet. This product basically eliminated the rest of water in my car, and removed the humidity. Takes a day or two to see visual progress of water at the bottom, probably varies by intensity of humidity- so if you don't have a VERY humid environment, it may seem like its not working the first couple days. I'm just lucky I live in Florida where cars are regularly 200+ degrees during the day so it humidified the car quick, and this product did its job by taking the water out of the air.

Took long time to dry carpets in car. Be patient.
I got frustrated as no water was building up after a day or two inside the mechanism, so I just ripped open the absorbent beads and rub them into my carpet. Which caused some of them to roll underneath the seat and become multi. Do not do this. Just wait for it to fill up. The more the smell from the beds was horrendous. Luckily I got, a mold spray, and that stopped the carpets from becoming moldy. The smell was coming from the beds that I didn’t notice had rolled under the seat.

Keeps mirrors fog-free
We have one of those older bathrooms that just has a window to release steam. We recently had it fully remodeled except for adding a vent fan (I don't think my tile-guy is probably the world's greatest electrician.) Steam/condensation is mainly just a winter problem. A few months ago, we were supposed to get an estimate for replacing our downstairs fan and adding one in the newly remodeled bathroom, but the guy obviously isn't interested in the work and never got back to us...for whatever reason (We clearly can afford whatever the going rate is.) Anyway, we are usually so busy with work and life that we don't have time to deal with calling around and setting up times for estimates, etc. So, to buy some time, I am giving this a try. I simply placed it behind the toilet. You'd have to look hard to see it. This alternative seems to be working very well. If it doesn't have to be replaced often, I might not even bother adding the fan. After all, there are plenty of other ways to improve my home.

get a dehumidifier
It will fill up with water, but in reality is it really going to help the situation if the area is moist? No..... just show you how humid the area really is and that you need a dehumidifier.

Absorbs moisture in my camper
I use the mini dehumidifier in my truck camper. It does a good job absorbing the moisture; you can see it collect in the bottom of the container. I live in the desert which is normally dry, and left the dehumidifier in the camper all winter. Looked at it at the end of March and I was surprised to see water collected in the bottom of the container! Good product.

Does the job
My sunroof in my car decided to leak during our rainy months and the moisture inside my car was insane. I set this up in my backseat and it quickly went to work. I will advise you if you buy this to either strap it down, or take it out once you start driving though.
