Works fairly quickly, use it for the kids, they're not overly keen on the taste .. but thats kids. They don't refuse it. Normally its working by the next day. Maybe two days if they are backed up. As an adult, I quite like the taste. Tastes a bit like liquorice.

Remember this from when I was a child. It worked then and it certainly did the job now! Very pleasant taste and though it is expensive I would still recommend it.

While traveling in Scotland, we had a problem with constipation. Phamacist at Boots recommended a couple of teaspoonfuls of this a day to help us and it worked very well. So we're keeping it on hand back home.
