Bleeding Elite Buzzbait Fishing Lure, 3/8 oz, Blade with Holes

So I read the reviews and decided to give this a try. Wasn't too sure overall how much I would like it. I also had purchased another heavier spinnerbait at the same time. First time out I loved the distance and control I had with the heavier one. However I was out fishing with my wife so I gave her the heavier one as it was a little easier for her to use. I switched to this Mini-King and move just a little up river. At first i didn't like how light it was. Especially shore fishing it was hard to get it out where I wanted it to go. I waded out a little and was able to cast where I needed to. No more than 10 casts in and bam I've got my first small mouth bass on the line.Ok so I thought that was a little lucky but if it aint broke don't fix it. I got back in my spot and started again. With in a few minutes I hit another one. Now we are having some fun. After about an hour or so of fishing I had pulled in 4 fish. After more than a few looks from the wife I decided to give up my spot and this spinnerbait and let her in on the fun. Sure enough she pulls one in.We tried a few other spinnerbaits that day before and after but didn't land any other fish. We would have kept landing them but, of course, we snagged and lost it. I've already ordered a few more. I can't wait to get them in and head back out.

I needed a new spinner bait since most of my old ones had skirts that fell off on the first cast. I bought this on Amazon because I did not want to travel 10 miles to grab some more and the reviews looked promising. I must say that it is much smaller than I thought it would be and much lighter as well. I was using a Med weight rod with 12lb test so that probably made a huge difference in how it worked/felt. With my setup I could barely feel it and my accuracy was horrid. But, after about 5 casts it worked and I landed a 19" Largemouth. Ok, Ok, maybe it was only 9 inches but it worked. I would recommend this if you are using lighter gear.

A little smaller than I thought it would be. Pretty good quality. Make sure and secure the skirt by tying some braid around the shank to secure the skirt or the heat or a fish will make it go away.

I bought two of these. One had a barbless hook; the other had a cut-out barb on the hook. These lures are not advertised as "barbless" so I'm going to guess that the former lure is factory-defective.These lures are advertised to "catch everything that swims," and I thought I might have fun catching crappie with them. However, these are very definitely bass lures. They're small as bass spinnerbaits go, and perhaps useful in those cases where the bass want something like that, but the hook is about 2/0 in size and probably too much for all but the largest crappie.I would have liked something a bit more versatile in a 1/8 ounce lure, personally, and that barbless hook probably should not have left the factory.

The lure is a great bargain for the price, but on the second cast, I found myself to be a bit lewd. The skirt flew off with vigor and enthusiasm rarely witnessed in even the seediest alleyways in NY.Other than the skirt, the lure has much going right for it. The weight is accurate, the blade variations are nice, and it casts very well.Find a way to secure the skirt a little tighter (raise 'em right) and this lure should serve well enough.Postscript: I would recommend a double hook setup. That not being what was purchased, I didn't take any points off of the review.

This is a great fishing lure. It is put together exceptionally and holds up well. I haven't been able to use it much but it has gotten a good amount of bites the few times I've been out. Can't wait to hook the big one
