18awg Flexible Silicone Wire

Pretty good for what it is. this wire is very flexible and will get you by. pretty sure it’s tin core instead of copper so it’s fine for minor repairs.

I do a lot of R/C wiring,, & also use this stuff for making extension wiring harnesses ect. on Motorcycles & misc. elect. UTV vehicles,, & this stuff works great,, & also takes solder very nicely. Very good quality''far east'' silicone housing wire.

I swear by these wires and silicone wires in general. They're so flexible and fun to handle, allowing for a much more diverse range of projects. However, they won't hold their shape without a bit of coaxing like plastic-coated wires will. They handle high-voltage beautifully. That silicone wrapping protects them from giving off any excess heat. I would say that the thickness is just right. I love that the box makes for the perfect storage, keeping everything together, while still allowing for measuring the exact right amount of wire.

Decent quality, and variety. Good price. Easy use in a variety of projects. Case is pliable, strips easily, is flexible, and soldering or crimping works well.

Quality made wire. A must if you only need a few feet.

I ran 65 ft of LED strip lighting, and this was the perfect choice for connecting it all. Solid, easy to use performance. I soldered it to all my connections and found it very easy to "tin". The result is fantastic. The insulation is tough and durable. The wire is rigid enough to run it behind walls without too much difficulty managing it, yet maluable enough to control any bend or curve you wish to put in it. The red and black leads are easy to separate when you wish pull them apart without needing to cut or use any tools. Stripping the insulation is easily done with a wire stripper. Update September 14, 2018 I have been happy enough with this wire, I ended up buying more to wire up another set of LED light strips. I'll take photos when I'm finished.

This was perfect for a project I was working on. I needed wire that was heavy enough gauge to carry some current but the outer diameter small enough to slip 3 wires through a small tube and the insulation needed to not break down at a reasonable voltage. The insulation didn't melt back when I soldered the wire. With most electrical wires, the insulation melts back when you attempt to solder it. The insulation seems tough and yet it was easily removed with a wire stripper. The wires are very flexible. I suppose this could be a problem if you were trying to push the wires through a piece of conduit or something but I didn't have any trouble with it. The colors are bright which makes it easy to differentiate the wires when connecting several of them to different points.

Nice packaging but the product has no quality ratings on wire or anywhere on the box. Might be good for a hobby but I wouldn’t trust it if you need to.
