The motor arrived days earlier than initially indicated. Packaging was secure, and detailed installation instructions were included. They even included a tube of high temperature silicone sealant.

Motor came with good step-by-step instructions and solved the noisy bearing problem with the old (original) motor. Package included the lock nuts, wire nuts, and gasket sealant. Only had to buy a smaller size electrical cable clamp because the old one was too large.

I was happy to see a replacement unit available on amazon. My forced hot water boiler's exhaust fan died and the service technicians quote made me very sad. I purchased this at a fraction of the price. The only difficult part was removing the old impeller blade from the old motor assembly as this replacement unit doesn't ship with it attached. I was forced to use a propane torch to heat the metal and remove the blade. After that, install was a breeze and our boiler is up and running again. Thanks!

Work well on our coal stove

Power venter motor replacement. The first replacement motor I bought lasted only 1 year. It may have overheated and seized due to lack of lubrication or possibly a unbalanced cage wheel.

I bought this motor for a power vent that is used for an Alaska coal stove, it lasted one season, I started the coal stove 3 weeks ago for the new heating season and the motor is making a whirring noise now. the motor would probably be o.k. for an oil or gas power vent, but not a coal stove.
