Five-minute Mysteries 3: Another 40 Cases of Murder and Mayhem for You to Solve (Five Minute Mysteries) - Kindle edition by Weber, Ken. Download it once and read it on your Kindle device, PC, phones or tablets. Use features like bookmarks, note taking and highlighting while reading Five-minute Mysteries 3: Another 40 Cases of Murder and Mayhem for You to Solve (Five Minute Mysteries). Review: Perfect for the night stand in the guest room - These short mysteries are great entertainment For right before dozing off. Review: Cool but with unfulfilled potential - The mysteries were good, the characters felt very powerful and engaging, and it was interesting how in so many stories the main character is actually a villain trying to avoid detection. However, the end of the book contains solutions, but absolutely no epilogue actually explaining what happens next, or what the motive for certain crimes was and stuff like that. I prefer books that do have epilogues like that and am frustrated about how this one forces fans to guess what happens next. Still, I don't really regret reading it.

Another fun winner from Weber
In this you have 40 stories and most of them are leaning towards murder and finding your inner Ms. Marple or Columbo. The stories occupy about two to three pages per story, with the question of how did the police spot the murder or spot the con artist at the end. This ebook version is great since they have hot links between the answers and the stories the answers support. The downside is at times the author uses Canadian or U.K. English language and there some word choices that would trip one up if they didn't recognize the clue in the texts. As well as some of the questions depend at times on some minor bit of trivia to know and solve the answer. Still fun to read and work my brain.

Good for kids, too easy for older teens or adults.
These are good little mystery stories, and excellent for little kids. We haven’t come across anything violent yet. But they really are too easy/obvious for an adult. These are only for kids, I’d say 7-10 up to 12-15 years old. After that, they’re going to be transparent. We read 8 in a row and didn’t have to read the answer to know who did it.

Bought this one because I liked #2 in the series. I enjoy the short read (1-3 pages max) each night in bed before going to sleep. Sometimes, I don't fully agree with the solutions, but that is mostly a rare case.

Can't go wrong with a Ken Weber mystery to exercise the brain. Fun whether you read his mystery stories alone, with a friend, or in a group.
