Once in a while, you can come across a product that makes a very big difference in your life. This is one such product. During the first wave of the pandemic, we got locked down and I developed severe eye problems. I was not allowed to see a doctor. The pain was excruciating and I did not know what to do. I presumed that the lenses in my glasses were at fault and of course there were no opticians open. I put up with the problem for many weeks until I was "allowed" to speak to a nurse practitioner on the telephone who suggested it was dry eye. She prescribed a multitude of saline drops which did nothing. It was a complete waste of time and money. Once the opticians reopened, I was one of the first to get an appointment. My eyes were carefully examined and I had scarring on the surface of the eye due to dry eye. The saline had not lubricated the eye correctly. The optician suggested a new product which is called Hycosan, which was worth buying. It is an excellent product. It coated the eye in a thin film that lubricated and gave the eye time to heal. The problem was none of this was resolving the problem. By accident, I came across an eye doctor on YouTube who had recorded an entire 15 minutes of how to combat dry eye. He recommended this mask and after having it on the eyes for 15 minutes an eye massage of both the top and bottom eyelids. He explained that many times the oils that help lubricate the eye gets blocked and heat and massage will help release it. After 1 week of using this mask 3 times a day, my eyes began to water again and by a miracle, the pain began to ease. It is now 5 weeks on and I use it twice a day. I no longer suffer from extreme dry eye. The damage is slowly healing and at night my eyes no longer stick to the eyelids. This simple treatment has saved me from pain and great expense. I have nothing but admiration for this product and I am so grateful I found it. Amazing results.

My earlier review was not published. This product is very good, but it was delivered in a shoddy way, not in the usual Amazon cardboard box but in it's actual box with one end open and it hanging out. It could have fallen out at any time. Given this is a product for the eyes I was concerned. That aside, I have bletheritis and after 25 seconds in the microwave and 7 minutes on followed by the recommended massaging of the eyelids (an essential part of the process) I have to report this is very effective. After four weeks of twice daily my swelling had completely disappeared and my eyes are back to normal. Highly recommend. I'm knocking off a point for the poor delivery but the product is good.

Found it too much of a pfaff to do everyday, but, in itself a reasonable product I suppose. I use some moisturising eyedrops every now and then when my eyes irritate a bit and that seems to be enough.

This eye mask provides real comfort for itchy dry eyes. It does as it says on the packaging—- provides relief from gritty eyes.

Sehr gute Maske für die Augen. Das erwärmen ist super einfach und die Wärme bleibt lange erhalten. Hilft bei Meibom Snydrom. Die Qualität ist wirklich hochwertig. Werde sie noch einmal für meine Mutter bestellen.

I purchased this eye mask at the request of my doctor for pending eye surgery. It works great. Elastic band stays firm on the head. I have not needed it for swelling of the eyes but one can place it in the microwave if needed. I use it for holding my eye patch. It shuts out the light really well.

Ich habe bereits 3 von dieser Wärmekompresse für die Augen gekauft. 2 davon für meine Mutter. Sie ist sehr gut verarbeitet und hilft/wirkt sehr gut (Augenliedpflege, Augen befeuchten). Praktisch finde ich auch das kleine Aufbewahrungtäschen. Einen Punkt muss ich anziehen, weil bei dieser/letzten Bestellung, Versand durch Amazon, die Öffnungen vom Originalkarton nicht einmal zugeklebt waren. Auf der Verpackung war der Adressaufkleber. So wurde er von Amazon verschickt. Der Artikel lag nicht in einem extra Karton, finde ich grundsätzlich nicht schlimm, weil die Kompresse und das Aufbahrungstäschen, Gott sei Dank, in einer versiegelten Tüten verpackt waren (nur deshalb habe ich nicht reklamiert). Die Verpackung lag auf der einen Seite offen auf dem Boden im Eingang und die Kompresse und einige Tücher schauten raus. Finde ich nicht hygienisch. @ Amazon: bitte Umkarton wenigstens zukleben, damit beim Transport nichts ausfällt. Für mich ist das auch ein Hygiene Artikel, deshalb hätte ich es besser gefunden, wenn er in einem einfachen Umschlag verschickt worden wäre. Man braucht hierfür keinen extra Karton. Wegen der schlechten Verpackung habe ich einen Punkt abgezogen.
