This is a great upgrade. I have rails in the bed of my truck for a fifth wheel hitch and this product allows me to also tow a gooseneck trailer when I need to. It’s very well made and heavy. Highly recommended

Fit snug. I had to tap the tabs that hold plate to the rails to make it fit but it may well be my rails. I'd guess it's better snug than able to move while towing.

This installed to my fifth wheel rails perfectly. I don't have to remove it to put my fifth wheel hitch back because uses different holes and the fifth wheel hitch fits over it. Very well built "Made in the USA". Rated at 25,000lbs and I just put that to the test hauling R. R. ties at capacity with a gooseneck trailer 60 miles in primarily mountain terrain with grades from 6% to 8%. The hitch performed flawlessly. It does have a small amount of play which you can hear stopping and starting at times, but nothing extreme. This costs a bit more than the Chinese knock-offs out there, but is well worth it.

Great plate we'll built

This thing is perfect if you have 5th wheel rails and need to pull a gooseneck. Super simple to install and remove. Takes up minimal room and works perfectly. Ive used mine for about 3 years and I never hear it move whatsoever while towing.

This is a great solution. Just bought a 2015 F250 with fifth wheel rails in it. Needed a gooseneck hitch and found this. Simple, heavy duty and built well. The only issue was the bit of slop between the rails and the hitch. It would clunk when stopping and starting. After much research found out this is a common issue on many fifth wheel set ups. Curt make dampening pads specifically for this issue: CURT 16900 5th Wheel Rail Sound Dampening Pads, 4-Pack. Just ordered them and will update this review after I tow with it. Simple $10 fix if it works! UPDATE 7/8/2019- After adding the CURT 16900 5th Wheel Rail Sound Dampening Pads, the slop is gone. Works great other than it takes a hammer to put the pins in and out. But I do not remove the hitch very often so it is a small price to pay. One other thing, the paint is very light on this hitch and just after a few months, rust is starting to show. I will end up having to paint it with some Rustoleum at some point. Bottom line I would buy again.

Been using this since the day it arrived and it has not given me one issue or shown any signs of stress on the metal. Fit right and perfectly in the 5th wheel rails, very little play, and paint has held up nice too! Great value if you already have a 5th wheel set up and need to pull goosenecks too. I feel its light enough for the majority of people but if you are not in moderate shape I would set it on the tailgate first and then climb into the truck vs carrying up up and down in your hands etc.

for price and service received from this product paid itself 5 fold. fit on rails locked no problems. came very well packaged and one day sooner, than expected. now I can pull use fith wheel and Gooseneck good to have when needed.

I misplaced part of my 5th wheel hitch during a move. Luckily I found this online, and it’s identical to the one I had installed at the rv dealer a few years ago. The one I got thru the dealer was over $1000 CAD so I’m pretty happy to have found this thru Amazon at such a great price.

Been using this hitch for 6 months now and it works great and is esy to put on and off the rails.

Works well. Just note that the ball is offset pretty far ahead of centre line compared to the reese one I had before. I had to raise the post on my GN a bit as the neck caught my tonneau cover rails with this one.
