Perfect RV Backup Camera Solution!
I wanted to install a backup camera on a 39' 5th wheel toy hauler that I recently bought, used. One of the rear, red marker LED lights had burned out. Furrion has a perfect solution, a red LED marker light with an integrated backup camera (FOS43TASR)! Installation was simple and went without a hitch... This setup provides a clear wide angle view, either by ambient light or using infrared, at night. This camera is really helpful when backing up my 39' RV. In real world testing the camera and monitor can maintain a stable video signal even when separated up to 50 yards.

Excellent upgrade for our travel trailer
My wife hated backing up with our travel trailer in tow. She was also uncomfortable on the highway without being able to use the rear view mirror. This camera solved all of that and more. The video is not the latest hi definition standards, but it more than good enough to see behind the rig either on the road or working into tight camp sights. At night the night vision works very well. We have discovered that the wide angle of the camera will pick up cars that are right at the rear of the trailer before passing us. By the time these cars leave the camera view, they appear at the side window. This has reduced surprises from cars approaching from the rear. The system was easy to install as in our case we simply replace the existing center position light on the top of the trailer with the Fusion light. This did require filling the existing screw holes, adding some sealant around the opening where the wires were located inside the wall of the trailer, and installing screws in the new locations dictated by the design of the camera. But this was no big deal. The entire installation took only about 30 minutes. Linking the camera to the monitor was done at the factory so the moment I turned on the system it was working. Since I am powering the camera off of the electrics for the running/parking lights, those likens must be on for the system to work. That is as simple as Turing on the parking lights when the rig is hooked up. We are very happy with this system. There are less expensive units on the market, but this system shows a lot of thought in design and application. I would recommend this system for anyone who wants a rear view camera system.

Great quality! Worth the investment! The mount, however....
Just received and installed the Furrion Vision S 5” rear marker light camera. Good: Easy to install. Signal reaches the front of my F250 from back of our 33ft trailer. Great picture and sound! Easy to use. The 5” and the 7” are able to pair up to 3 additional cameras. Could be better: The monitor pretty much only mounts using Furrion’s mounts. I love Ram-Mounts, but Furrion uses a 3/4” ball instead of a 1” ball like Ram-Mount, and the Ram-Mount X-grip doesn’t fit due to the shape of the back of the monitor. I’m going to have to get creative to mount the screen. Update: most recent trip, and only the third time using the system, the suction mount would not stay attached to the window and kept falling. Ultimately, within 2 hours, the mount broke while trying to reattach it to the window, leaving me with no mount for this trip. Mine did not include screws to mount the marker light/camera assembly. Overall, totally worth the investment!

Great view when the tailgate camera is unavailable.
Simple mounting by replacing one of the clearance lights on the truck camper. I had an issue with the original install and the customer service was terrific, on point and their patience was exceeding rare in today world. Problem turned out to be my error, not the device. Working great. I even has a mount I can use in the camper if I want to use as a view when parked. I just have to trigger the truck door r lock that send power to the lights and turns the camera on for a minute.

Instructions not clear, screen not bright enough.
Use for rv trailer backup camera for 26ft Jayco. Directions not clear on connecting camera to running light power source. Be sure and connect red camera wire and running light wire to same positive of the running light. I thought the red wire may be separate to use for backup light source. Instructions clear about mounting, but not connecting. Monitor screen is not bright enough even when adjusted to full brightness. Signal cuts out at times when traveling, but works fine while backing up, etc. I have ordered a taller antenna to see if helps. Overall, the product is good, but overpriced.

It works so well, and easy to install
I really like having this unit on my 5th wheel. I got only the one camera for the rear and it works really great. I like the fact that I can monitor what's behind me as I travel down the road. It comes in handy when it's time to swap lanes, make sharp turns, etc. I can always add other cameras if I want to, but I don't think I will. I don't care for the way the side cameras look. To me they stick out to far and I maybe wrong, but I think they have to be mounted on the rear. It's been awhile since I looked at them!! If it was designed more like the ones that come on RV's and can be mounted on the side of the 5th wheel more towards the front so you can see down the side, I would like that better. Overall, it's a great product and I'm so glad I installed it on my camper.

Laggy and camera disconnects all the time.
Lags a lot, also disconnects about every 20 seconds. I have talked to tech support and it took a month to try and get things resolved. I would email them and wait a week for a response, respond and wait another week. Finally ended up calling them, almost everytime had to wait quite a bit to talk to someone. Dealing with tech support was very painful and frustrating. No way to upgrade to the newer camera system. I will look elsewhere the next time I need a camera like this, as the current camera is almost useless. I have the side marker cameras and they work well, but I can't use the tri-view because when the backup camera disconnects, it switched to single view. I can't recommend this camera.

Great camera!!
absolutely awesome. Easy to wire, works with RV running lights on. Let's me see cars coming up on either side to reduce blind spot between Travel Trailer and Suburban. Haven't tried it at night yet, but if it works as good as my last Furrion RV camera I'm sure it will be amazing.

Light was well made, fit and finish was excellent. Unfortunately mine had an electrical issue and would not power up, despite this I will buy another one.
