I prefer to use corded headphones over Bluetooth.. you know, radiation and all that jazz. This is a great adapter for my iPhone. Just don't forget them in your pocket and accidentally put them through the washer. They will not work afterwards lol. Thankfully they came in a two pack so I still have a back up to use.

Buy this adapter instead of the Apple adapter.
I will admit, I was skeptical at first but the sound is actually louder when using this adapter. I purchased this to use with my iPad Pro 12.9 and it works perfectly. I also tested the sound quality using my Samsung Galaxy Note 9. I plugged my headphones into the headphones jack. I listened to a few songs, then I plugged my headphones into the USB-C port and listened to the same songs. I must say there wasn't a huge difference in the sound quality, but the sound coming from this adapter is around 15% to 20% louder than the headphone jack. If you're looking for extra volume and a little more bass buy this instead of the Apple adapter. You can't beat the price! Nice working audio in/out for iPad Pro and Mac Pro.
The first one of these I got was a dud. I contacted the seller and was given a free code which I used on Amazon to get a replacement which worked well. I have tested with my RODE VideMic Pro with their red mobile cable and it works well on the iPad Pro and my MacBook Pro. I have not A/B tested this with other sound A-D / D-A devices so I can't say that this is great for production audio, but it does work and sounds similar to my ear to the Apple Lightning version. This little device is great. I'm getting another so I can keep on anywhere I might need it. BTW: These little devices could be damaged easily - you might want to get an extension cable if you think it might be pulled.

Horrible product. On initial plug in - it buzzed loudly and it continued- didn't work at all. I went to Walmart and bought one for $9.00 - well worth it because it WORKS. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I think they prey on people thinking they won't return this item since it's cheap- but I'm getting my REFUND. I NEVER write reviews but I want people to be aware and not to WASTE their TIME and MONEY

Works Great!
I purchased this for my Galaxy Tab S7+. There is not headphone jack on the tablet. This filled the void and allows me to use headphones on the tablet. The shipping was spot on. Ordered one day, received the next. It came in a padded envelope which was nice. I'd recommend and purchase this again.
