Levi's womens Melanie Newport Bomber Jacket (Regular & Plus Size)

I love, love, love this jacket. It's a true bomber jacket, with a wide cuff at the bottom. It looks really good with the looser fit or barrel style jeans and pants. The navy is a nice dark color. The zippers are noticeable, in a "sharp" way- nice accent. My c-phone zips securely inside the pocket. I am 5'4" and weigh 105- XS fits great. I did not notice any "bulky areas- the fit is perfect. And the price was fabulous... I love the style and fit of Levi clothing.

Absolutely love this jacket. I’m actually mad I waited so long to buy it. The pockets are lined so they’re warm. It feels like a faux Alcántara material in the pockets. The arm pocket is perfect for me to carry a chapstick tube and a travel size tissue pack. It’s very lightweight and comfortable. I like to throw it on over a hoodie when I want the extra wind breaker type of material. Definitely worth every penny. Looks high quality so I wear it to work sometimes. Elevates your every day look too.

I'm normally a small but have an athletic build in the upper body, so based on other reviews I sized up and bought the medium. It fits decently and looks cute, but if I put both arms straight out on front of me, it still pulls behind the shoulders. Normal daily activity is fine, though - I just wouldn't be a ninja in one. The sleeves are neither baggy or too form-fitting, and I like that. The zippers are stiff and two tend to stick in the closed position at the very top. The pockets are just big enough to fit your hands if they're fisted, and are not big enough to hold a phone. Shoulder pen pockets work fine. The jacket's weave is small and tight and I like the material. It does "swish" when you move. The hand pockets have an off-white stripe around the zippers, with a small red dotted pattern. It's lined but not insulated, so it would make a great windbreaker / fall / spring jacket. I get cold easily, so I wanted this to wear indoors in cold air conditioning on a hot day, and I'm tired of hoodies. Overall, I like the jacket and hope an updated version will fix the zippers and cut.

This is the second one I’ve bought. I originally bought one in bright green (gorgeous colour) from Macy’s in the sale/same price. Saw them online and ordered this in red and in the purple. The purple is a really lovely colour too but this bright red/pink colour really pops so I kept this one. Very tempted to get another one in bright blue. I’m 5 feet 7 tall, size 6 clothing. I got size medium. Fit me well, not close fitting but not baggy. I have long arms and the sleeve length hits perfect for me just below the wrist. Stylish light weight jacket for a low price, perfect for mild Spring and Autumn weather…it’s too light to be a cold weather jacket. I’ll wash the green one as I’ve worn it so much…I’ll put it in a mesh garment bag and wash on a cold cycle same as I wash my Alpha Industries jackets. I reckon these will wash just as well as similar material.

LOVE! I have tried so many jackets like this and this one is the best all around. Note, I am normally an XS and got a Medium. It is roomy but not oversized. The small was fine with only a tee under it but JUST fit. I am 5'2" 124lbs 32DDD.

Jacket definitely runs small. I ordered a Xxl but it fits like a large instead. I suggest ordering up to 2 sizes bigger if you want a comfortable fit. Three stars only because I like the style of the jacket.

Very nice jacket and it was a very good price when I bought it. I like the fit and how it makes me look. I would buy it again if I could.

Great fit. Classic style with a touch of an edgy look with the extra zipper. Light weight but soild. Perfect for spring/fall.

Bought for my 14 year old daughter she is tall and the sleeves are short for her. I kept it as she liked it and we got it on sale. After using it a season the sleeve rims have broken into bubbles. Jacket is good but for small frame people as sleeves run small and sleeves are not wide enough for people with heavy arms. And it does pill.

Extremely nice jacket, light liner, good for fall/spring/laye summer evenings; fit as apected (M perfect for a normal to a slightly loosen fit for 12 UK). I recommend it; since the finishing are fine, as per Levis quality, it is beautiful also match with mini dresses.
