durable,cheap,super chewy
My dog loves this ball. So much so that he will whine and cry if he cant find it. the rope didnt last long since my dog loves tearing into rope and strings. but the ball holds up to his heavy chewing. great toy to stary toy drive. Price is definitely worth it. I probably wont have to buy another one for a long time. Easy to carry too!

THIS BALL IS AMAZING!!!
Don’t be put off by the image of a half eaten ball with no rope. This ball survived not only my personal Malinois but countless other training dogs I’ve had chewing it, tugging it, and fetching it for OVER A YEAR!!!* It just last night bit the dust and I had to go back and look at my orders to find it so I can order it again. I’m truly impressed with its durability. The rope it came with went quick but I have a whole coil from Lowes I just cut off and replace it with as needed. I actually love a lot of the starmark products and this ball did not disappoint. I don’t let dogs excessively just chew up toys in the house, we play with them during training and maybe a little residual gnawing on it but this type of toy is SUPPOSED to be a training tool not just something that they’re given free access to.

Need Better Rope
This is the only toy that my lab will play with. It goes everywhere with him. While the ball is great he chews the rope off within days and we have to use other rope. I have lost track of how many we have purchased over the last 6 years. Starmark...... please make this with an indestructable rope!

Durable for fetch with my GSD
My two dogs love to play fetch and these hold up to their constant chewing and chomping. I have three active right now because they both have to be carrying something when I let them out. This ball is a sturdy but super soft rubber that is super durable. They have chewed through the rope that came with it but I found that adding some 550 cord to throw it and as a sacrificial chew rope helps. Get this.

Used it for softball practice.
I waited yrs to write my review. I wanted to make sure it was worth the money. That it was not just good for a weekend. I tied it to a longer rope then to a tree. Set the ball on a tee.. Keeps the ball from getting lost and my daughter wacks the crap out of it and still whole.. great product.. sorry I didn't use it as a dog toy.

My pup's favorite toy
When presented with other toys that my pup likes, she always chooses the green ball. The trick is getting her to give it back once she has it. My solution, get 2 green balls! I love the strong cord because it keeps my hands away from her chompers (there is a reason they call Malinois "Malingators"). Don't use the cord to tug on the toy, use it to throw and keep your hands safe. This toy has been the best reward while training because she loves the mouth feel (squishy yet bounces back). So far it has not failed, but the rope is showing signs of wear.

Good engagement toy, needs improvement
Poor workmanship. Poor quality rope. The shrink plastic over the rope slips off in one play session. The area where the rope is joined is barely joined with the long tail side and is partly severed. I know this is a quality control because I returned one and the replacement is exactly the same. We poured Gorilla glue into the plastic cover and covered the partially severed rope. So far it is holding up to vigorous play. Our dog loves the feel of the ball as he grabs the rope and bangs himself in the face. He also likes how squishy it is when he grabs it. He is never left unattended with it. A higher quality rope such as yacht braid, with better attachment would give the toy more life.
