I love the quality of these boots. However, I'm not sure how they're made, the right boot is tighter than the left boot. And believe me, I understand that some people have different sized feet, but I've never had that issue in my life. And the reason I won't give them 5 stars is because they're too tight. I had to buy leather stretching spray to get them to be more comfortable. Other than that, they seem great. I work along the railroad track, and the soles hold up fantastically to the ballast, which typically destroys soles. I like that it's a pretty firm bottom, I climb poles and while I wouldn't want to climb in these all day I was able to throw on hooks climb up to do something quick and climb back down and it didn't hurt. The leather is durable. The look is great. I was able to fit in my arch-supporting inserts with no problem. They were no tighter than with the regular inserts. So overall, I like these boots. I would probably buy them again if they last me a couple years, because I'm tired of boots that last a year and then you have to throw them away. Keep in mind, however, you might have to do something about how tight they are. On their website, they say buy a bigger size, but when you're walking around on uneven terrain, that's not great. You don't want your feet sliding back and forth inside your boots. It creates blisters. So it's better to just have a boot that fits properly.

Tight and loose at the same time. Garbage boot.
I got a 10.5 wide and clearly not a normal size from other work boots. My last several pairs of boots (Georgia's all) fit perfect at 10.5 wide. My pinky toe didn't even make it inside the safety toe on these, and they are the tightest most uncomfortable boot I have ever stuck my foot into. EXTREMELY tight, yet the ankle loose and the boot flops around without cinching the laces as tight as you can, then the already tight boot is even tighter on your foot. I wore it for literally 2 minutes trying to give it the benefit of the doubt before I had to get off my foot which was starting to hurt. 0/5 if I could. Returning immediately.

not cheap, but durable and comfortable.
I chew through Boots like crazy with my weight & long hours of standing, walking, crouching. Whatever it is, 6 months and a pair of shoes were in the trash and new ones ordered. These boots however, have earned my respect, price tag is a little steep, however you definitely get what you pay for. Ive beat the crap out of these things and they have no tears, or show any signs of giving up. You do however need to care for them. Make sure to clean them somewhat regularly, give them some oil. treat them right and they will last a very long time.

Hook eyelet ripping out of the boot, no longer laces properly or tightly like before.
Bought these in November and I was happy they were American made but sadly one of the hooking eyelets is ripping out of the boot. And I learned that they have a terrible and short product replacement of only 60 days. Your boots aren’t even broken in after 60 days. I spent over $300 with tax and for the boots to rip after 3 months of wear is unacceptable. They look nice but now they don’t lace or tighten properly.
