I am very impressed with this herb. Why? Because my older dog is so much better. He doesn't cough much at all. His bark was weak and its now robust and loud - like it use to be. I can take him for a three quarters of an hour walk without him struggling to get up the hills where I live so he has his stamina back. I use this with Vet Medin. Prior to using this herb I used just the Vet Medin and although its helped its not sufficient on its own to make the difference that I have seen in my dog. This change has been validated by other dog walkers who have asked me what I have done to render the changes in him. I really thought that my dog was on his last legs before this, so I would recommend this. However, you do need to be patient with this as it took about two months to see him at his best. Please persevere as it is worth it.

I have been using this on my Yorkie for some time and was very happy with it. I am devastated that this product is no longer available. Many of us our relying on this for our pets and invested in it for it to disappear. Please can someone explain what has happened or can recommend a better one!

Tried this on my elderly dog. Does see to have slightly calmed her down from her heart pounding constantly.Plus when mixed with food she eats it all.

My dog has a grade 4/5 heart murmur, she is 10 now and has been on a small amount of this supplement for over a year. Her recent check up confirmed that there has been no further deterioration and she has no cough now which she did have at the beginning in the mornings. All I can say is it has done no harm and without scientific validation I believe it has helped her continue a normal life.

My dog had a smaller dose than recommended and suffered horrendous diarrhea afterwards. I have never seen anything so bad. Thank goodness I didn't give him anymore as I think that he would have needed the vets.I had to throw it in the bin. I do not recommend.

I bought this for my Papillon dog who was diagnosed with a heart murmur 3 months ago . On a check up last week the vet said there had been an improvement already and I noticed within a week of using her cough and shortness of breath had receded. She is 12 years old and I don’t want to put her through surgery so I will continue to give her the hawthorn powder daily as it appears to be working for now !

If your little furry one has any kind of cardiac defect, GIVE HIM THIS ASAP! It's not a miracle drug. It's not a drug at all. However, I gave our mini doxie this the very day it came in the hopes that it would help his recently diagnosed mitral valve disease and lo and behold! His coughing all but ceased the very next day and he went from a grade 4 to a grade 3 at his very next check up. I was shocked. Unbelievably pleased but shocked. I was always very dubious about the effectiveness of herbs for either animals or people, but folks, this product has made me a steadfast believer. No matter how dire your pet's diagnosis might be, if you want to give your animal the best chance at a longer, better quality of life, give them this. You won't be disappointed.
