Good quality speaker, nice price
I ride horses, and I bought this to strap onto my saddle or wear on my wrist while I ride (a similar speaker marketed specifically for equestrians is around $130 -- no thanks!). It works perfectly, with enough volume and clarity for me to enjoy my music without being distracting. The bad is a little awkward to get on one-handed, but once it's on it stays put. I never have to worry about losing my speaker on a ride. Since it's water resistant, I've also taken to hanging it on my shower rod so I can enjoy my private shower karaoke. It charges pretty quickly and the battery lasts a long time. The only thing I don't like about it is that you can't adjust the volume/skip songs from the speaker itself, and that it will turn itself off if you aren't playing any music after a short amount of time. I appreciate that it is trying to conserve battery, however the wait time seems really short, and it gets a little annoying to have to keep turning it back on and reconnecting. However, these are very minor inconveniences, and I highly recommend!

Great little speaker!!!
I love my Boom Band. I read some of the other reviews and I don't agree with negative ones, this band has given me life, it does have a long battery life, the sound is great for what it is, people it's not a big boom box!!! I love I can walk away from my phone and still be connected, I love the feature where she reminds you it's connected or not connected, I've even washed dishes in it and its fine. I'm a teacher also and since we are online teaching, I use it during my zoom times with my students, it is louder than my laptop, I teach PREK and some of my students don't talk very loud or their devices are either not turned up enough or the device is just not that capable. I use it when I'm in the kitchen cooking, sometimes I leave my phone in the bedroom, and I go to the kitchen to check on my food cooking, it stays connected, the distance is great. I have headphones that don't live up to this little speaker. The only problem I've had with it at first were the fasteners, they were hard to fasten and because they were hard to fasten, the band would come undone and fall off my wrists, this made me scared to wear it out of my house, so far I haven't left my house because of social distancing. But as of today I caught my 11 month old puppy chewing on my band, she chewed the very end, but guess what since she bit off the end I am able to fasten the band better. Looking at the other band that came with it, I just can't fathom myself trying to change bands, looks to complicated. I will be giving the Boom Band to my son, since the puppy is really his (he will be reimbursing me) and I will be purchasing a new one, I don't like anything tacky (not really tacky, I just like it the way I bought it) lol. Did I mention I love the price!! Would have given five stars but the band needs a better fastener, not a different band just change how it's fastened!!!

Cool practical little gadget, love it and it works!!
This is a wrist (watch alike) mini speaker, and for what it is, it's exceptional. I got so exited taking it out of the box and just to look at it I knew it was just perfect for what I was looking for. This is a true plug and play device, I first tried it with YouTube videos and the sound wasn't very load since YouTube sound volume changes depending of the videos you play, then I played Pandora and mp3's and the sound was excellent, just loud enough. I went on a bike ride and to the beach with an usage of around 3 to 4 hours total on and off and used 60% which to me it's perfect, not to mention how practical and cool it's to have a speaker in your wrist instead of carrying one around... I reallly like this product and that's why I gave it all 5 stars.

Could have been 5-star, but has 2 really bad flaws.
At first I thought this would be the small, portable speaker I could use while cycling. The design looked good, it wasn't flashy or made in a loud color, and The reviews seemed worth a shot. I like the size, the understated black, and the ease of pairing - however there two REALLY BAD things that I wish they did differently. I'll start with the most annoying of all: the power on/off voice prompts. When you turn the speaker on, you will hear a female voice say "POWER ON" in the LOUDEST VOLUME EVER! Regardless of what your device volume is set at, when you turn theBoomBand on, you will hear POWER ON every time! And on top of that - just in case that doesn't annoy you enough - the speaker does the exact same thing when you turn it off. When you turn the speaker off you get a similarly loud and annoying "POWER OFF" voice prompt! Why couldn't it just be a simple beep? There's a visual LED to show that the speaker is on or off, did they have to really add a voice prompt with a non-adjustable full blast volume??! Second, the design of the band how it goes together is not that great. The band uses a metal insert with two small pins that are supposed to grab at the other strap. The problem here is, the metal pins face inward, so if you try strapping the device to anything with a hard surface, it's a pain to try to get the pins to grab. If they simply flipped the metal pin design 180 degrees (like the Apple Watch strap has it) this would not be a problem. Honestly I really wanted to like this speaker - the actual sound output is pretty good for what it is (this is the only reason why it still gets 3 stars), and again I like the understated appearance - however the two problems I described above ultimately made me return the speaker, and I'll have to look at other brands to try to find what I need.

Safely exercise...
Bought this for keeping in a tool belt while working. I actually didn’t think I would get a lot of use out of it. Took it on a bike ride and boom... this is what its for. I can listen to tunes without headphones so I can still be aware of my surroundings. Sound is really good for a little speaker. I did notice some slight interference with the bluetooth connection when I would pass a lot of cars. Don’t know if its the metal or what. It would pick back up quickly though so no big deal. The band is a little tricky to clasp, but I learned it after a few tries. If you exercise outside, this is a cool way to get your music without putting yourself in harms way with headphones which take away one of your most important senses. Cool invention.

Buyer beware
Bought the boom watch so I could listen to music while commuting on bike in an urban environment and had a few issues with the product. The watch is advertised at twice as loud as a phone and has a 8-10 hour battery life, of course I wouldn't expect the battery to last 10 hours while at max volume but I was surprised to find that when at around 75-85% volume the battery last only 2 and a half hours. Not only that but when the battery starts running low there is a constant annoying audio reminder that the battery is low. The strap for the watch is the worst design Ive ever seen for a watch strap. It is difficult to put on and get a secure feel leading to 2-3 minutes of messing with it until I got a fit that I was sure wouldn't fall off my wrist. The strap also isn't very durable, after using the watch for a total of 5 days the part of the strap that contains the locking protrusions ripped off completely. Leaving me unable to use the watch on my wrist. My last complaint is the sound quality, at higher volume the speaker doesn't handle base well at all. This isn't very surprising as many small speakers have this problem. TLDR: 1. Horrible battery life at higher volumes 2. Strap is difficult to secure on wrist 3. Strap isn't very durable and broke after 5 days of use 4. speaker does not handle base well at higher volumes I wouldn't recommend this product to others.

Stylish, lasting powerful and clear sound; all in one bluetooth speaker: BoomBand,Tech Life
I just love my BoomBand from Tech Life; it’s the most fun and versatile bluetooth speaker I’ve ever had. The sound is powerful and clear. It’s stylish, easy to wear, just like a wrist watch and It’s so convenient and perfect for me, because I am a multitask person and I can just push the side button and answer my phone calls while I continue doing whatever I am doing. I can listen to my favorite music for hours without having to charge its battery so often.

Cool concept but needs some improvements
Pros: Lightweight, not overly bulky, simple design, great price. Cons: questionable battery life, flawed wristband, sound quality isn't much better than smartphone output Really cool concept and I like how they did it without making the product heavy or overly bulky. The wristband is something left to be desired though. Played with this thing for almost 45 minutes trying to find out the best way to put it on and keep it on. Something a bit longer and simpler would've made this 5 stars. The product claims battery life of 10 hours, but the packaging says 6. I charged it up completely to 100%, but just after 3 songs at 75% volume, it said there was only 80% battery remaining. It also claims its 2-3x louder than the volume output on most smart phones, but its barely louder than my Samsung edge 8+. It just made the sound a bit clearer. But definitely loud enough to wear and listen to while at work (i work in a kitchen). Unfortunately due to the wristband, I can't see myself keeping it on all the time. And if the battery doesnt last longer than 6 hours then I'd have to charge it multiple times a day. So I decided to return it, but would be great for someone planning on using it for only a couple hours at a time. The price is more than fair too so I'll leave it at 4 stars
