Q: Do I need to buy sand?

I did not use sand, I use the cotton balls

Q: Can you use this pump with a heater? If so which one would you recommend?

I use solar pods to heat pool up

Q: I have lost the rubber seals from the conecters what size do I buy to replace please

Do you mean the rubber o rings? Check amazon. If you mean the clamps that you tighten, I replaced mine with worm drive jubilee clips

Wrong plug for uk market

This pump cannot be used in the uk. I have spoken to bestway and they advise that if an adapter is used it will void the warranty on the pump. I have just been sent the same pump by decathlon and am getting no where trying to replace with uk plug.
