Cons: - Not taking off a star for this because the product is advertised to cut soft metals like aluminum and copper and I needed them to cut off some length off of my 4130 chromoly steel material bike handlebars. I've managed to successfully use this cutter for one set of chromo handlebars but do not for the second set I'm trying to cut. I'd assume I've dulled the blade. - Minus one star because it is way too hard to find info on how to replace the blade. No, I know where the replacement blade is located and removing that is just unscrewing a screw - really simple, but how do I remove the dulled blade I'm trying to replace?? I've tried removing the "clip" that holds the pin in but it's not working. I've searched online and checked the manufacturer website, and while I do appreciate that they offer a blown up diagram of the parts and seem to sell each part separately, no info on how to remove the blade in use... Pros: - Relatively easy and intuitive use - Well designed, cuts straight and doesn't wiggle around if you seat the tubing right - lightweight and doesn't take up space - good cost-point

Just what I expected from Ridgid. Great tools, and calendars too. You will also find the extra cutting wheel secured by the screw that holds the knob on. Nice touch. Performed flawlessly on many cramped 3/4" copper tubing cuts in a floor space. Not rocket science but this quality little tool does its job well and built to last. And kudos to Amazon for getting it to me on the SAME day I ordered it. Amazing! FYI... I don't do these ratings often and paid full price for this tool. Would be even better if Ridgid gave a free calendar with it.

Bought this to cut copper tubing for some projects, but as fate would have it... my transmission cooling lines sprung a leak. Since those lines are steel, I was apprehensive to use this tool. Good news is that it cut those lines without a whimper, allowing me to run a bypass. Impressive!
