Buy this instead of the new Motorcraft FL1995A oil filter. This is a much higher build quality and you will have no trouble with fitment issues.

Looks cool and fits well
Fit perfectly on my 97 7.3L powerstroke diesel. Slightly smaller than the aftermarket filter I took off but that really doesn't matter. I change my oil every 3k miles my filters don't get worked too hard. It honestly looked cool so I bought it and I will definitely use this filter again for my next oil change.

With the FL-1994 filter up over $30 I went with Baldwin as a more cost effective solution. Its micron rating and efficiency actually outperform the FL-1994 despite it being slightly smaller. Great quality from a known brand.

Solid replacement filter
I use these in my 7.3 powerstrokes. Heavy duty filter does a great job. The walls of the filter are thick and the filter media looks like it's well built.

Works well in 7.3L PSD Ford
Ford OEM filters suddenly became $25! Always liked Baldwin filters for other areas and this one seems well made. It is heavier than the K&N filter I also bought and returned.
